SHORT INTRODUCTION
ZB vz. 37 heavy machinegun was developed in Czechoslovakia in 1930s and was put into service with Czechoslovak Army in 1937. It was primarily used inside Czechoslovak fortifications along the border. Those machineguns were also exported to Britain, China, Yugoslavia and Romania during interwar period (more than 60,000 pieces). After establishment of Protectorate of Bohemia & Moravia in 1939, these machineguns fell into German hands and both Wehrmacht and Waffen-SS units now were equipped with them, they were primarily deployed at Eastern Front and served as part of defensive lines.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
The machinegun was able to fire more than 500-750 rounds of 7.92 ammunition per minute, making it deadly weapon in combat, with maximum travel distance of bullet being over 2500 meters.
HOW IT SHOULD BE IMPLEMENTED INTO ENLISTED
ZB vz. 37 heavy machinegun should not be equipped by soldiers, but rather serve as a static weapon that can be built by engineers and serve as defensive weapon at checkpoints or frontlines. Although technically it could be carried by single soldier too, I do believe it would be very unpractical.
