Your opinions for team balance

I need your opinions for team balance.
Enlisted is well made game, but it is very boring, because of team balance.
I always try 5-6 time to find equal number of players in both team.
Most of matches are non equal. In my case, the ratio of number of players is 2vs10.
Yes. I perfer Axis. But there are no Axis players.
Most of matches are finished in 10 min.
Do you really fun of this? I am not.

Please tell me your opinions about team balance.
Is it really ok for playing?

Games with unbalanced teams are no fun at all.
I have made this suggestion.
Fairly match the number of players - English speaking section / Suggestions - Enlisted

  1. PvE - if more players on one side - they’re playing PvE with lowered reward (0.7x)
  2. Dynamic reward for “playing any side” - if your team won, you get regular rewards, if lost - 2x as compensation
  3. Smart bots:
  • Faster reaction and suppressive fire, but lower accuracy
  • Using windows, ladders etc, to safely get to the point
  • Acting as a squad - if one is hit, all return fire

A large chunk of what it really boils down to is based around one major factor:
Players enjoy winning.

That said, it goes beyond just “playing on the popular team”. Especially when it comes to Axis. Generally Axis is more often on defense in most campaigns. The game mechanics are broken in favor of attackers. This is the same reason that you see so many players leaving on games of defense.

If they fixed the game mechanic balance between attackers and defenders, it would be a good start to balancing out team numbers.

The 1.5 exp multiplier is I think the reason why players tend to go for high populated sides
Because more competent people = a higher chance to win = you receive the 1.5 exp multiplier = easy grinding
This system tells me that players are rewarded depending on their team

And I don’t think this system is just, because they reward players who didn’t necassrily contributed much to winning or they punish good players who have to carry bad players

If we were to give this 1.5 exp multiplier to the best performing players, regardless if they win or not
Maybe we’ll see more players going for least populated sides, as the score is directly tied to how good you perform in a match, no longer you must worry of having bad teammates for the player himself will be rewarded based on him and only his actions only

Good idea. However, it seems to me that this is a feature that a game should have at the very least, and I am saddened that it is currently not even there

Technically speaking should the game have more active players after the campaign merge, especially at max BR.

sugestion:
1-give 1.5 exp (maybe less) multiplier for players choice random team(sure random actually should be side with less “players” not actually random. That will give extra for who sacrifice himself.
2-balance a bit maps/units, maybe change order we can open units. tunisia allies first tank pen axie and otherwise no making awfull experience for new players. Maybe merge will fix or turn situation worse.
3-i think we should open option for random 20x20 25x25 in squad games (player choice if he want or not, and sure fill with bots). Is incredible horrible to play team 2 air 2 tank, and 5 bots trapped doing nothing while you need capture 2 points like “A” and “B” instead 1 capture point per time.

people are aware of team balance problem and that you end up with lots of bots. and that is why lots of people wanted game progress and MM rework and we are finally getting it in few months. it should at least severely mitigate the problem. i doubt they can manage to completely solve it cause you will have either skill difference, or one side will be stacked with more console players than others.

I will never ever turn on random side, I don’t care about bonuses. And I think I am not the only one. This alone would not solve anything.

 with a major rework incoming about progression and machtmaking explain me wy do you need opinion on something wo get changed in 2 months?

Moreover is more sensate ask final opinion on how the game worked until today

I agree with Kutarin. Even with this new rework to the game, if they are missing these key changes, players will still desert from games.

  1. Increase the reward for the top 1-3 performers on the losing team. (maybe 1.4 instead of 1.5)
  2. Allow a choice of what game mode you wish to play (Conquest, Invasion, Detonation, Confrontation) either via a check box or individually

Problem is SIMPLE !

REMOVE THE DAMN BOTS

I am hoping that rework will improve the situation, but there will probably be threads like this even after the game is officially launched.
Even if the campaign is scrapped, the problem that the community has 
 that they want to bias towards the favored team will still remain, and there are some aspects of how BR will work that can’t be figured out until we see it in action.
I think it makes sense for the community to continue the discussion and share problems and ideas, and it may inspire developers.

i hate when i have to defend in invasion mode.
steamrolling is a waste for both teams.

it actually solves a lot of things. if you have ~20% of players who play random you will get relatively equal matches with regards to human players. according to yesterdays stats berlin has 27% more axis players than allies, moscow allies have 25% more players than axis, pacific axis has 14% more players than allies, stalingrad allies have around 16% more players than axis and tunisia is beyond saving with allies having double the number of axis.

difference between axis and allies playerbase is around 7%

so yes random team will help a lot with MM. you would need around 20% with old MM and 5-10% with new MM for getting relatively equal number of human players in teams. skill difference will still exist, but at least you wont be burdened by bots in your team (or both team will be burdened equally by bots).
