You need to delete the bullet spread patch

It’s not a skill issue. I’m a very good shot in enlisted, at short ranges and long ranges, yesterday before the update I played one or two games and my aim was just like before. Then at night i decide to play again, and surprise surprise, the new update is out, at that point I’m still excited, but I hop in, only to find that it’s become near impossible to hit targets, especially moving targets, from a long distance unless I use a sniper rifle, and then I find out they nerfed aiming.

Not a skill issue, just a bad decision by the devs

do you really think this is ‘skill issue’?

I can appreciate why bullet spread has been increased. The squad management aspect of the game is currently quite weak and there is little incentivize mastering playing the game as a squad leader over an FPS rambo. Also, for realism sake a firearm is always moving. Video games pretty much just focus on the the fact that breathing causes the gun to move but also holding a front sight in alignment with a rear sight is also something that would always be in motion. you could argue that there needs to be a better visual indicator that this is happening in game or that they should utilize the already present stamina system by making time spent aiming cost stamina points.

Sorry, but have you ever read update log? I can’t read about spread nerf is for just AI soldiers.

They didn’t nerfed Bolt-Action rifles dude

I tough they were?

They didn’t list the AI. Except it did affect the AI, in a good way.

They don’t make 180 snapshots with laser accuracy 24/7 now, they still happen but not as much, they actually miss and behave more like humans than T-1000 terminators.

possibly they don’t want un-scoped rifles to be as effective as they are at sniper ranges. …

SMG at close quarters, rifles at intermediate ranges and scoped for long range

When you’re lying on the ground completely still a gun wouldn’t move much. But I get your point, it still ruins so much though, something I loved to do was going to some nice spot and taking long range shots with rifles, using my squad to cover my back, but now it’s become so difficult to make those range shots.

It’s sad though, considering the only real difference between some of the sniper rifles and normal rifles are just scopes.

It DID affect the AI, but human players too. Just go to Practice zone and shoot some M1 Garand Sniper or Sniper SVT-40 in long range. Even FIRST SHOT has spread. Can’t even shoot like Battlefield 1 which has shitty random spread too.

Update log says that these changes did not affect to Bolt-Action sniper rifles. If they nerfed regular bolt-action rifle too, these devs are just idiots.

It says they didn’t nerf bolt action rifles.

but I have had alot of shots on stationary targets just whiff or disappear since patch. Even shots that I have stopped and taken my time to make absolutely sure on a stationary target, and it still whiffs, leaving me scratching my head. My buddies are noticing this aswell. And we have always been very confident with the rifles.

In any case I feel something isn’t quite right,

*It is possible I had one of those bad days, But its been ages since I had one. Will play more on the weekend and see

it depends the bots, they have a bad aim (leaving out the no scope) even before the shots dont touch you a couple of time, and you must also count that many players play badly, for now to me personally the bolt-action not seem different

I think you’re doing it wrong. Or gun accuracy of the fg42 is just bad in general. groups using the g43 are very tight.

I did 3 tests.

its a precursor to the weapons handling leveling mechanic that will come with restructured soldier progression.

oh really? That will be super cool

devs have spoke about it previously, leveling up soldiers will be more organic and effect more things (like weapons handling)

I really hope you are wrong, although I’m afraid of you being right.

I can think of very few things that may scare away new players more than “random bullshit bullets dispersion unless you level up for weeks or pay straight out”.

It’s my interpretation of what Keofox said about the upcoming leveling changes for the soldiers including “shooting your weapon would level up weapons handling”
