You get to change 3 things in Enlisted!

I had an absolute blast of a time flanking IS 1s and the like in: 5cm Panzer IIs and 38ts

It was one of the coolest experiences I have had in Enlsited. Vehicle BR truly didnt matter anywhere near as much, Because you could approach from anywhere…Suprise!

Exactly. Also vehicles like the Panzerwerfer can finally shine when the map is bigger, or any other SPG. I remember one of the most fun matches I ever played was watching our team assaulting a village with a rocket barrage before advancing. That was badass and very cinematic.

Also gives place for making fast recon vehicles actually useful. Big Action mod I think is the way Enlisted should be played. For me, it’s no grey zone all the way. It’s the root cause of many problems and grievances in this game. I mean, paratroopers can’t even drop behind enemy lines ffs…

  1. Big matches in big areas like 20v20

  2. Some price changes and a way to reward old players like some kind of coupons or golds to give them something valuable like slots or squads after 2-3 years of playing they deserve it

  3. some little changes for example in game sounds and voices. right now voices from soldiers doesn’t fit the game, a soldier in war should be exhausted, tired, raging etc… but instead of this we have voices like belongs to couple of cosplayers from boys club that screams cheerful, or annoyingly. doesn’t represent the soldier’s tired/exhausted condition from all these battles

Haha the voices do irk me at times. Also why do soldiers have to scream while charging? Can’t there be an option to just run without making so much noise? I’m trying to sneak around here doing the Lt. Winters run.

something has seriously gone wrong.

but anyway, let’s dive in a bit of wishful thinking.

mhhh…

well,

the list would be long, but i would restrain my self.

custom content for modding

making this game endless. and above all, not happy with the direction? make your own experience

riders type II with jeeps

more iconic ww2 vehicles ( and protos. why not ) to offer in the game and let more people apreciate riders by giving generally more armored vehicles and what not

PVEs

extreamely popular, yet the higher ups at gaijin literally make them once in a while for no reason.
if games like helldivers were popular not because of the extraction shooter, but because of the solid foundation and cooperation there is. enlisted already has most of that stuff.
so i don’t see why that’s not a thing.
perhaps make it into a dlc? 30 60 bucks? and voilà.

Actual transparency

it’s impossible to connect with actual developers through the PR McMajor.
doesn’t even reflect what some of them say.

and it’s doing more harm than good.
sometimes they talk about fixing an issue, but it’s either tone deaf, or outright questionable as none in over the social medias even talked about.

i’m not saying placing players or paying customers be at front and fully make decisions.
after all, a direction is still needed.
but to sometimes neglect or not even adress it outright bad for both.

custom content and uniform appearance.

it really bothers me how some of the uniforms are watered down and uncensored despite having literally a frikin " harmonization mode " what’s even the point.

so yeah, add more uniforms, change them to be more historical and there you go.

then you would have to change AI behavior for actual PVEs.
as there’s plenty of work to do in order to be efficient. and not only for pves.
but occasionally for PVPS.

hell, even make PVEVPS where players have to assault specific area with AI already in certain positions to aid both team across the frontline.

for people that were shy in admitting and claiming AI usage wasn’t used, to then backtrack and saying that they have done it for years, i really wonder where such " saved development cost " really dived into.

because prices are hella stiff for one or two units at a time and it ain’t there.

nobody would complain of there were more Premium content for a more affordable price.
AS LONG IT’S NOT ACTUALLY GODDAMN WIDE USE EQUIPMENT.

nothing grinds my gears more than watching most used vehicles under premium.

i say they already do a good job.

custom matches suffers from massive power deficiency.
and whenever you try to join a session, sometimes you outright can’t.

and if you manage, massive lags.
you can’t even loads mods properly.
in 1p is fine, but as long it’s up to 2 or 50 it starts all not loading, being invisible and what not.

other thing i noticed freezes.
constantly. which were no where common as it is after the sunray update.

if i can think of anything else, would be rockets and windows.
you will die 90% of the times.

clear window open, your tube is out, yet you will blow up.

but yeah, that’s all for me.

i’m sure there is more, but i deem those at the utmost importance.

anyway,

BR1 should be PVE.

no.

it needs an entire dedicated matchmaker.

so you have those who are relaxed and just wanna play the fikin game without having to worry about tryhards.

as well as move some " bad " players away from the main matchmaking.

after all, it would still be technically a DLC like for honor did.
( even though was then released to the public )

but it’s a good start to get some decent fundings for what is already essentially there lol. minus the capped xp )

i mean, i can’t believe i’m saying it,
but at this point it’s the only stuff i would get.

as there isn’t much else for me to do other than stomp or get stomped.
might as well relaxing and stoping them clankers AI.

and not having to feel bad about it.
( figuratively speaking of course )

Alright, nice, lets make the most of it:

1. Full subfaction support.

This would mean the return of all legacy squads, making them available for purchase with silver, and then making of a couple of more just to fill the few gaps that would still be left (like US Guerrillas since we only have Commonwealth ones, or Commonwealth truck APC because we only have a US one).

This would also include huge cosmetic changes/additions for the Commonwealth and Italy, who’s choices remain extreamly limited (especially when compared to other factions). Not only totaly new pieces of uniforms should be added, but multiple variations of them to be added too, both new and old, only stopping when we get to close parity with their parent faction in every campaign.

The ultimate goal; if someone wants to play all British or all Italian, then that’s a personal choice they should (and would be) entitled to make.

2. Fully interchangeable weapons and vehicles.

Simple really, all weapons and vehicles, including melee weapons, that were previously locked to Event or Premium squads, would become removable and equipable on other squads (within the same faction, of course).

Am I not the owner of my hard earned squads? Was it not my money that was spent on the Premium squads? They’re mine, they should be mine to do with as I please.

This would go a long way to help with several factors:

  • It would transfer true ownership and agency of these peices of gear to the account holder, not to arbitrary game limits.

  • Finally and forever solve the issues with the Devs putting vehicles into the wrong nationality squad.

British vehicles would finally be useable in British squads, and US vehicles would finally be useable in US squads. Same thing for Italy and Germany of course.

  • Many peices of Event/Premium squads gear were used by the other subfaction as well, players should be allowed to represent that.

This is the most true for the Western Allies, where the Commonwealth benefited greatly from US equipment aid, but there are some cases that would benefit the Axis too (German Beretta M38 paratrooper squad, for example). I would for example purchase the M24 premium squad if I could use that tank with a British squad instead, as the M24 was given in lend-lease and I would definetly use it in that capacity.

  • Let players fix louadouts they are uncomfortable with.

I for one think that whole squads running around with MGs is very dumb, and it’s even worse with the British Vickers K squad where it’s God damn paratroopers dropping with heavy MGs (you know, the type of soldier in history that was the most conscious about the weight and practicality of their weapons). I just want to change these squads, or take the weapons away from those squads and redistributing them, in a way that I find satisfying, and I know many others feel the same way (about the same, or different concerns).

3. Introduce a Rider II and APC III squads.

I want to go full mechanized, I’ll take the ideas from people like @ErikaKalkbrenner or @Spiderkingthe10-live (to name but two), combine the collective ideas of several people into one, for new additions to the tech tree, as well as unlocking the door for future cool Event and Premium unlocks.

Rider II squads would be a direct upgrade to Rider Is, they’d be using armed cars (like Jeeps or Kübelwagens with mounted MGs), or even armoured vehicles to small for the APC role (like British Universal Carriers). Running theme would be 4-5 man squads, riding around on MG armed vehicles, carrying ammunition for teammates. These squads would be excellent for rapid infiltration and flanking (especially good if something like Big Action mode was implemented), and their increased size would mean that they would pose a possible threat to overruning recently opened objectives (squads would still be smaller, defenders would still hold the advantage). It would transform a very underutilized squad type in the game to something with a unique, but not dominating, role on the average battlefield, a class people would actually consider brining to the battlefield, even by those who haven’t purchased extra squad slots.

Added benefit to this would be to finally place UCs within their historicly intended roles, not as clown car APCs. The current event APC can stay as a unique event APC, it has a poor weapons loadout anyway (Boys ATR), we just need other newer versions (x2 Brens, or top mounted Vickers K + hull Bren) in roles that best fit the most produces armoured vehicle in history.

On the flip side, APC III squads would be the proud owners of new tech tree armoured APC squads. Like M3s and M5s for the Western Allies, or Model C Sdkfz for the Germans (current premium is a model D). This would then of course come with eventual premium additions, like Canadian Kangaroo APCs (so many fun ones that could be added). Of course, current armoured premium/event APCs would retroactively be upgraded to APC IIIs, to benefit from the better soldier class (marginal stat increase).

  1. Return to the original concept of Enlisted - a non hardcore FPS game that actually cares about WW2. Complete redesign of the 4 nations x 5 BRs system, focus on actual WW2 and not fantasy, with new factions like Britain, Italy, France, something along these lines:
  1. Complete removal of all prototypes/fakes/paper equipment, or at least locking them in a separate BR/mode, adjustments of inappropriate cosmetics and out of place squads/decals/skins etc.

  2. 32 v 32 / 64 v 64 real players only gameplay (no bots or bot squads).

Bonus: Complete fantasy but – BF1 artists team, BFV gameplay/gunplay team, BF6 movement (besides the sliding)

Additionally, whilst this isn’t technicly a change to the game itself so I can get away with this, technicly speaking:

I would bring on @Myrm1don and @Valkay as advisors, for arial and ground combat expertise respectively, so their suggestions would get pushed through too.

Seeing so many players in the community engaging in such enthusiastic discussions, I’m truly glad that the game has such a dedicated group of players (perhaps even more dedicated than the gaijin).
I’ll also make three wishes.

  1. Basic Optimization and Experience: We hope the team can prioritize the thorough investigation and resolution of all the bugs remaining from the testing period, in order to provide a stable and smooth gaming environment for all players.
  2. Content Expansion and Promotion: We are highly anticipating the officialization and formalization of the excellent content (especially the large map) found in the “Giant Offensive” MOD. This will undoubtedly greatly enhance the playability of the game.
  3. System Intelligence: The desire to have smarter AI teammates and a more powerful, flexible command system, to elevate the level of tactical execution and collaboration experience.

BR+/-0 , map/mission choice, event gold rewards

BR+/-0 for me too. Although +/-1 is an improvement on how I remember it at the start, I’ve recently picked it back up after a few years away.

Being able to choose mission type is the most important. I hate conquest, always have in games like this. Attack/defend is the way games like this should be, conquest lacks coherency with random players.

A co-op PvE would be nice, if only to allow you to tweak squad composition and practice. I wouldn’t even care if the XP was drastically reduced. And I’d be more likely to play midweek instead of the drastically worse matchmaking I seem to get on any night other than Friday or Saturday.

AI improvements would be good too.

Actually true, big action does work technically well, but gameplay is different story - getting to the objectives can be hard, and placing rallies is so mandatory that you need to walk like 10 minutes when you want to play without depending on your team - which isn’t bad at all, but it would definitely be a totally different game.

I already really dislike all pacific maps because its a walking simulator with too chaotic map structure.
Placing rallies behind enemy lines happens so regularly that you have zero structure in the game.

Imagine having to search for miles to destroy a backdoor rally.

Big action is really frustrating for infantry gameplay, but indeed very fun for vehicles.

obviously never made use of the transport available to “every” squad. (in recent versions you will struggle to find an infantry squad of ANY type that doesnt spawn in its own transport truck)

definitely not doing something right (or choice) if you’re not in the action after a few minutes.

and once those rallies are down (of which everyone can build three at a much faster speed) its non stop
