The XFD-1 was the first prototype of what would eventually become the FH-1 Phantom Jet Fighter. The prototype was completed and had it’s first flight in January of 1945, and was armed with 4 .50 cal machine guns in the nose, and could carry 8 HVAR rockets on the wings. There is a very extensive suggestion for this vehicle on the War Thunder forums.
I already made a forum suggestion about the YP-80, the designation of the pre-production P-80/F-80 in limited service during WW2. If the XFD-1 was to be added as a tech tree vehicle (so there is an American and British jet fighter option), I would like the F-80A-5 to be re-skinned and renamed as the YP-80.

Could it potentially replace the P-47D in the future? Is this aircraft present in War Thunder?
Don’t be so worried. This is just an inevitable trend, it’s only a matter of time. Are you tired of getting bombed by American aircraft?
It’s more like getting rocketed, but no, Jets ruined the balance of br 5, making all propeller planes in br 5 useless

This is indeed a serious issue, extremely serious.
A BR 6 tier should be introduced to move all these jet aircraft over there.
Not so sure how much that would help, Br 5 would still fight against br 6, although br 4 airplanes might have a chance to stay alive a little longer

Well unless they remove jets completely that wont happen better give all nations more jets and move props to BR IV and BR III since now the jet situation is P2W for one faction that has huge advantage and the only way to fix this issue is to remove jets that wont happen or add more jets.
