He probably means because they introduced a universally large increase of powercreep for fighters at BR 5. Consider the power jump going from a Bf 109 K-4 to an Me 262, or a Ki 84 Ko to a Kikka.
Regardless, some representations of each major nation within a faction (if they aren’t being split) is still warranted.

It’s pretty obvious that you just want to make the premium plane less unique by adding another variant of the same vehicle to the tech tree.
They werent a mistake but some of them are a little out of boujds in terms of time period I’d be OK with the Me262 staying but everything else is borderline stupid

They definitely jumped the gun on jets. There is still so much they can do with early and mid war; them rushing to add end of war content makes me feel to me like they are not only forgetting about the rest of the game, but also ending it.
No, there isn’t some hidden agenda to make the existing plane “less unique”.
The only other American jet option with comparable performance to the others is the XP-83, but it only had a single prototype built before the end of the war. Many people would prefer service vehicles over singular prototypes for tech tree options, it’s just that Gaijin pushed themselves into a corner with their choices.
I just try to suggest options that will appeal to the most people, while also being balanced and period-correct, based on research. I even offered a “F-80A-5 Reskin and Rename” option in the poll.
You mean the most P2W vehicle in the game ? 
If there is P2W squad in the game that’s the one its absolutely broken and got secret buffs all the time to a point when it became better then the Meteor … with a better payload then the meteor and you can have 2 jets the only faction that can have 2 distinct jets one boom and zoom and one turn fighter.

No. YOU are forgetting that there is a whole BR section dedicated to the end of the war… and BRV is portraying if it continued basically.
I did some more digging, and it turns out I was wrong about what other potential American jet fighters for BR 5 could be added.
I have now made a suggestion for the US NAVY XFD-1 Phantom as well. I will change my vote to the F-80A-5 getting a reskin and rename.

Why? Jets were a development towards the end of WW2… which is what the BR they are present in is depicting
But they ruin the balance between the propeller planes at br 5 & 4

The main problem with jets is that most jets are two leagues above any other BR5 aircraft with the exception of the medium bombers and P-47 D, but only because those fill entirely different roles.
If jets were not the ultimate aircraft and came with enough downsides that they are just an alternative and not a direct upgrade over prop aircraft than flying in BR5 would be a lot more fun.

Jet with HVARS would be even more annoying against infantry than the 1000lb bombs already are hell nah
I think even if that was a fighter it would still be very viable to use its just way to broken but jets make it seem a little bit more balanced
Too late its already open event vehicle in my opinion
