Moreover, Ho Ni1 and Honi3 also use different squad compare to Chi Nu 2.
I brought up both vehicles because I am comparing it with M24? What is the point of comparing Panzer 4F2 with Chi Nu2 when the subject is M24? You are just avoiding the point that Panzer 4F2 is also comparable to M24.
Oh so now suddenly it doesn’t matter when the “AP with absurd amount of HE filler and penetration for it’s BR soo OP” on lower BR? Just take a pick, it’s either AP with HE filler is so OP that it would break the balance or it’s actually not break the balance, you can’t pick both of them.
You didn’t actually read what i’d said there didn’t you. I said it would of course make M8A1 obsolete when M24 also gets M61 but giving M61 to M8A1 wouldn’t make M8A1 so far behind and would make it at least worthy to be used in some area. Which it can’t even fill that role right now. Was it too hard to understand that? Also speed still does matter obviously(Of course not as important as in Warthunder).
The issue with that is Japan doesn’t have any legacy squads available unlike other factions. Which means that it is severly limited in tanker squad it could deploy thus making mutiple BR line-ups with vehicles are impossible to do so. You can’t really cycle vehicles as Japan without sacrificing your QoL and time which switching vehicles and crew weapons all over again when you want to play a different BR.
So does T-28 and some number of tanks that are in BR 2 according to your logic. What are you even trying to say here? I’m not avoiding anything here. Panzer 4 F2 is comparable to M24(If it gets M61 that is)? Sure? And? Does it justifies that Panzer 4 F2 to be on BR 2? I don’t think so. 
Also M24 getting M61 wouldn’t suddenly make the whole balance collapse unlike you seem to think it would. You know why? because both USA and Germany has had access to something vastly superior already which is 75mm guns with 3.3 secs reload speed. There’s a reason that Panzer 3 N got moved up to BR 3 just by getting better HEAT and it is still doing relatively okay on BR 3. What does that mean? It means that other than the penetration, the firepower itself thanks to it’s super fast reload speed, is more than sufficient on BR 3 perhaps one would argue that it’s overpowered even, on BR 2.
M24 cannot stop incoming HEAT let alone AP with HE filler in whatsoever from those short 75mm gun and would very likely get oneshot killed when hit anyway due to cramped interior for being a light tank and paper armor but not paper enough to not trigger the fuse of those AP shells. Giving it M61 will just increase the QoL which ended up requiring less shots needed for killing enemy tanks, that’s about it. It would still has to compete against 3.3 secs HEAT/HE slingers with 6.5 reload speed.
Honestly, i’m bit tired of this infinite back and forth without going anywhere and you probably feels the same too. Say what you want but i don’t think i’d use up anymore of my time for this.
Since you agree that Panzer 4F2 and Chi Nu2 is comparable to M24 using M61.
Then there should be no problem of moving them to BR2.
If you also agree about this then I will have nothing to say.
I just don’t agree that you being double standard, using all kind of excuse like obsolete to say they cannot be move to br2.

I’m all for the Chaffee getting APCBC because it spites german mains but not the Lee and Grant because we need Br II mediums to further spite them.
