Whole bunch of suggestions

  1. D-Day map. That map alone just needs fixing. Everything about it. First of all, why is there mountains on either side of the map, with turret emplacements? Yes, in Normandy there are cliffs, but the “cliffs” in-game are just full on mountains let’s be honest. This then leads to more problems - the high terrain the Germans get basically just allow them to laser beam MG-42’s across the map on every single American soldier, who gets no cover what so ever inside the valley. For this, I’m not talking about the beach. I’m talking about the points after the first bunker, inside the valley. I don’t care if this is “more realistic” to be honest. If you can’t even get 2 feet without being shot dead no matter where you come from / where you spawn then the map is just unbalanced and broken.

  2. The green exclamation mark can be a little broken at times. Especially if you have a gun able to be upgraded using spare parts, the exclamation mark never goes away permanently after looking at it. Same for Logistics. That is just really annoying. Please… my OCD is killin’ me here.

  3. Arty spam needs fixing. I won’t get into it here as I’ve seen many other suggestions ask for this to be fixed, and don’t want to repeat it like a broken record… but seriously. The game is literally impossible to play because every 3 seconds an artillery shell or mortar is landing next to you, causing your head to shake meaning you can’t shoot at anyone - even with 50% headshake reduction.

  4. The aforementioned head shake effect. It’s too over-the-top. In this game, a bullet just needs to go in your general direction and your head shakes like a bobblehead being dropped from space. It’s just too much shaking.

  5. Better anticheat system. Every other game I enter some guy is sitting at the back of the map shooting his Kar98k at 1000 rounds per second randomly, killing everyone across the map without seeing them. That’s an exaggeration obviously, but that just sums up how it feels, and how often I come across someone cheating in one way or another. Please no one reply “BuT i NeVeR cOmE aCrOsS hAcKeRs” - just because YOU got lucky and didn’t see any, doesn’t mean they aren’t there.

  6. I never thought I’d say this about bronze orders, but they are too rare in my opinion. More so the bronze weapon order. It feels like it costs 10 to buy one medkit but you only get 1 every three days. That’s how unnecessarily grindy it feels. In fact, everyone I know has got more silver orders than bronze orders. How does that make sense? Shouldn’t it be the “worse” the order, the more common it is? So Bronze most common, then silver, then gold which is obviously paid for. But silver is more common for some reason.

  7. Linking back to point 3, to help counter the arty spam I suggest making the “Frequent Artillery” upgrade you get for the Radio Operator battalions available as a perk for each individual radio operator. This way, instead of getting the Frequent Artillery perk once and it applying to every soldier in that battalion, you’d have to apply it to every radio solider; meaning if you have 3 in a squad, only 1 might have frequent artillery, not all 3.

I’ll stop there so as not to overwhelm.

Actually, suggestion 8. The ability to edit posts on the forums. I’m honestly surprised that’s not a thing.

It’s just disabled.

Fair enough.

Silver is not more common. You need at least 3 tasks completed to get one trooper order or two weapon orders. In meantime you get one bronze order for every 3k made in battle. That is at least one per battle, with much more available if you make good scores.

That one is basically pointless. If someone wants to spam artillery then they will do it with that one guy anyway. Making radiomen have visual confirmation of the area they want to sent artillery barrage on if they want it’s full power would work much better.

No, I don’t think it is. You say “he’ll do it anyway” yes, but if I have 3 radio men in a squad, but only 1 with frequent artillery perk, if that 1 dies, that’ll reduce the spam as my other two can’t do it as much. That’s what It’s doing - it’s reducing the number of radio soldiers who can actually use frequent artillery. Instead of doing it one time to apply to all, you have to do it individually on each soldier.

Then why does everyone I know, every streamer etc have and get more silver than bronze? It’s definitely not one per battle, otherwise I’d have a thousand bronze by now.

" you have to do it individually on each soldier…" [Continuation] It’s slowing down the spam but also it makes sense that each soldier needs to earn the frequent artillery, not the squad as a whole. It can be also be based on rank for example - so that only level 3 radio operators can get it, not level 1’s

Maybe because they saved those silver orders instead of spending them all at once. Meanwhile bronze orders are most likely to be spent as soon as you get them, so they do not accumulate as much.
It’s one per each 3000 exp you make in battle. This is pretty standard score that you can make without effort in any match so it means at least one per battle. But note that this system was introduced week ago - before you got bronze orders from doing tasks.

So it would change nothing for players that seem to be the biggest concern of those who complain about artillery spam - thay already sit in the back, with their one soldier ready to call artillery and completely safe.
It would hurt peaople who use that squad like me and my friends - in the middle of combat on the first lines, using the artillery as area denial weapon while capturing the points.

Well that system doesn’t work either. Because the experience isn’t consistent enough. You can go really terrible on your team, get no kills, never get on an objective and get one bronze order. On the flipside, in the same match you can top of the team, kill ALL the enemies, capture every objective etc and still only get one bronze order.

Actually I think the reason bronze orders feel rarer is by the pay-to-win in-your-face attitude to be honest. You can’t keep collecting rewards from battle tasks (even beyond the maximum 3 that count towards the battle pass) like you used to before. Now it just blinks in your face, teasing you, to force you to buy Elite Battle Pass.

wat.

You can still use artillery as the other radio operators that don’t have the frequent artillery perk. And I never said this was in replacement of other people’s suggestions. This can be done alongside other suggestions (e.g increasing cooldown still), as another anti-spam measure.

And it allows Gaijin to throw in more pay-to-win measures by allowing you to pay for frequent artillery perks on each individual soldier, eg 500 Enlisted Gold / Soldier, making you pay more than once. Something they might not get from a single upgrade that applies to the whole squad. So they have more financial incentive too, and we all know they’d love that.

But if you make it as a perk then frequent artillery will be accessible outside of the radio squad. Your fix is going to increase artillery span instead of decreasing it.

I only have one radioman in my squad anyway because having more than one is useless and radiomen can’t have backpacks. I don’t even think you can get 3 in a squad.

Tasks limit for BP was present since the beginning. Free one had 1 BP reward per day, Elite one had 3. Before tasks gave you bronze orders, so you could complete them even after getting your BP reward.
Without bronze orders for them there is no point of having more tasks than you need to get your BP reward.
And BP is one of the monetisation things that is litteraly no way P2W. Only thing that Elite BP give you more is one gun. Rest is the same, but they get it simply faster.

The average non-premium player can bring in 3 squads. Two of which already can be radio operator squads. I don’t think that 1 extra that can carry 2 radiomen in is going to out-balance the decreasing of spam.

Tasks limit was the same yes, 3. But beyond 3 in a single day, you could still collect the bronze order from the “Additional Battle Tasks”, even if it didn’t give you battlepass xp. You can’t seem to do that anymore.

Not entirely true. If you have Elite Battlepass for 900 gold, completeing it gives you 1000 gold. Which means over time it’ll be a gold-gainer. You’ll get more gold back than you actually spend on it. This gold can then be used on literally anything else in the game, which is more pay-to-win. So yeah, Battlepass is just as pay to win as anything else.

Fix I’m supporting (visual confirmation) would require radiomen to not sit in the hiding when calling their strikes if they want to be effective. If they don’t hide → you can shoot them → you can easily end their spam.

So it would be just irritating mechanic that doesn’t reduce spam

And don’t know how argument that your solution would give more P2W possibilities is supposed to convince anyone that it’s good.

So what’s even the point of having radio squad. If you can give that perk only to one soldier, the second one is pointless. Any other squad would do it’s job better.

You can get 2

Because you get bronze orders for exp.

One last 100 gold reward is free. So everyone can get it. The rest is just returning cost of the BP. So it pays for itself and you progress through it faster.

Yeah except they can’t make an “anti-camp” system because then things like snipers would get ruined. But yes, that is the most effective way.

No, it does reduce spam as explained. And it’s not “annoying”. It makes sense. Why should a radio-operator level 1 be able to do it? A radio operator 3 should be able to, maybe level 2. It also means you have to wait to unlock that perk - it won’t just be there. When you go to perks for any trooper, the one you most want might not be there - it’ll be the same here.

And don’t know how argument that your solution would give more P2W possibilities is supposed to convince anyone that it’s good.

It’s a videogames company. The financial incentive is not for the players, but for them. You know how it is, they are all greedy “bad-words” I won’t say as I don’t want to get banned. But yeah - you know that they won’t add anything the fans want unless it actually gives them more money or more money-making opportunities. Welcome to 2021.

Which as I explained, doesn’t work properly nor fairly. Which again falls into the original suggestion of just fixing bronze orders.

Oh yeah the end. Which 90% of players will never reach because there is too many levels in the battle pass, you get too little xp for such little time. Most casual players will never reach the free 100, and they knew it. But even if free, doesn’t make the point any less valid. Because with Elite BP you can get it easily much quicker than anyone else, and over the period of several BP’s probably more than anyone else.

Sorry @78879023 I accidentaly answered to your posts (your profile miniatures are very similar). Those answers probably don’t fit to what you intended.
