He does videos? Why does everyone hate him? Seems like a a shoot the messenger kind of thing. All the mods are decent on this forum.

Maybe this statement is gonna get deleted but he betrayed the community promising that if he ever joins to DF the community voices Will be heard more easily by the developers
Sadly this wasnt true he’s now one them…and sadly nothing has changed with or without him the state of the Game would be practicly the same

They seem to listen. They just make bone headed decisions like removing gold orders. I am sure none of it has to do wit hthe Mc Donlands fella. I imagine he has about as much pull as the latte lady outside the home office. I think the game makes an effort. The devs and mods are pretty even handed. I never realized he was disliked. Heroes and General had a real villain compared to what you guys are upset about. Their game representative was a toad that everyone hated. He tried to come over here and stir crap and got banned :).

If major can barely juggle beeing both the CM for enlisted and AM at the same time then i dont think he has time to also do his own youtube ontop of it.
I for that he has given me way to many reasons to dispise him.
Starting from something petty like having the release window all over the place instead on a steady 3 pm as under james ( under him it is like 12pm to 5pm depending on his mood).
To some more concerning issues like him just rarely responding to actual questions in new topics or other topics that arent just support related. When i called him out in the past he tried to guilt trip me as an excuse (valid or not it still came of as deflecting from the issue).
Even the Sit reps which should have been a major victory for communication kinda just devolved into desperate self complimenting where they try to sell bullshit as the biggest achievements (a devlog would have done the same job the sitreps did but would have spared me their desperate attempts to bullshit me).
And finaly McDonalds did say some really questionable thing that do got me concerned over the future of the game (or his intellectual abilities) when he said body armor was just a knee jerk reaction and nothing to worry about when the issue had already been know since even before the merge and certainly is real.

Again, never realized he was hated. I guess my understanding is more easy going when it comes to FTP. I have seen far greater hate in a game called Heroes And Generals. These guys are on top of it more than most games. Now if you said he was the reason we lost the gold orders GET THE PITCHFORKS AND TORCHES!

Pitchforks and torches would be a slower demise. Removing the gold orders was an offense that requires exceptional outrage. Like 2 boats, honey, cream and hot weather.
