These two days someone flagged me like 15 times even when my comments had nothing to do with violation of rules, some of the flagged comments were even suggestion-comments
I ask for the person who does this to contact me in private chat and tell me in person what does he have against me instead of flagging everything I write

It’s only been abused from what I can see.
Really the only reason it gets abused is because it’ll censor posts with no moderator confirmation at all.
Of course I’m against censoring anything that isn’t spam, porn, or gore to begin with.

Think of it like reddit updoots and downboats. You say something incendiary or crude, it gets down voted/flagged. shrug.
no, they always hit at precise times on an hour from what I’ve noticed. Either the mods have OCD or it’s automated.

Best thing to ask yourself is would you talk to your mum in the same fashion? helps keeps things civil and nice.
Disputes on the forums are confidential so I’d encourage not trying to discover who is doing what. If they felt comfortable with approaching you directly i’m sure they would.
Nah we should call out those dips that flag comments that they don’t like whether they break the rules or not.
I’m sure it’s being done in good faith. Some people view certain user content as a violation of the rules that some may not. That’s why there’s categories to select when flagging a post that may concern you.
The best thing we can all do is continually strive to foster an environment of open and civil discussion between players. If we do that the flag button will most undoubtedly gather dust.

I’m speaking in generalities as I can’t comment on every single flag because I am not a staff member
If you were really flagged for that post I wouldn’t worry about it too much, I doubt staff would take further action on it!
