You saying that infantry weapons has a larger gap, yet that is also not necessarily the case

yes you can dominate a rifle squad with an assault rifle, but so what? It’s a fricking assault rifle for a reason…

same way you can dominate a stuart with a Tiger, just how it is, it’s supposed to be superior

planes vs planes is all about positioning, though a superior plane helps a lot, at least for me, I was really bad pilot until I finally unlocked the better aircraft in the game, and then suddenly I was actually able to hold my own against some people and only struggle vs true elite pilots and can finally dominate when the opposing teams pilots and planes aren’t as good…I couldn’t do that with the low tier planes…and now the new BR system, that will be a standard part of the game to have less chance of having a dominant match, since most players at that tier have the same stuff

so this new BR system is going to reduce the frequency of fun matches of shooting down lower level aircraft, killing lower level tanks and killing lower level infantry squads, because will all be tiered limited, which ruins the fun of actually earning superior toys in the game, actually makes it largely pointless, which is ridiculous

so enjoy enlisted for now before that fun is gone forever

Of course, if all you see in the change is the loss of a privileged position, obviously you don’t like it.

Yet here’s some facts that should mitigate your unbearable pain:

  • Top level will meet top level AND 1 to 2 lower levels. If you play top level, you still CAN’T face superior levels.

  • If bashing newbies is so important to you, you’re free to set up a low level deck and go down to early tiers to bully around (which, being an experienced player, you shouldn’t have problems doing, right?)

Because the core part of the fun of this game is the immersion, the BR is destroying that completely, there is no silver lining for that crap

matches will be more likely full of more high level players at the top BR, it’s not that they are higher than you, it’s that all the high ranked high level players will be pooled together and those matches are going to be rubbish to play, will be too many matches at high tier with just high tier stuff, it will be completely rubbish experience

it’s not that bashing newbies is important, as much as having more chances of variety in matches so yes you can be in matches that aren’t just stacked with top tier players

and sacrificing having fun with a high tier weapon just to avoid that is not some kind of benefit, that is actually one the reasons why this new system is dreadful

If I wanted to play as a low level, I would just start a new campaign and enjoy progressing against everybody

I wouldn’t as a new player want to progress against only limited segregated weapons etc…

But I understand that some people might, which is why I would have been ok with this being an alternative mode, so players had such options to play that way…but forcing that on me, no thanks

Listen, I don’t want to be rude, but again, your previous posts in this thread seem to indicate that your ideal of variety is you wielding endgame weapons while facing enemy teams that are full BA and early tanks…

Now, I could understand complaints about variety if the argument was like “X BA is the best at its level, so there’s no point in using any other BA than X”.

But, as much as I like smashing bots and hate being smashed by superior players, your reasoning sounds quite selfish.

no that’s you reaching an assumption without reading what I wrote in full or not fully understanding where I am coming from in full

I like the idea of variety because of immersion predominantly and the potential of those situations happening, not saying, that is all I want…but to drastically change the game to eliminate that completely was a stupid way to deal with it and to force it on everyone, even worse…it should be an optional choice for players to decide

so you want to play in a BR system, great, queue here

if you don’t want such a thing, then queue here and everything in the game will potentially be in your match

we aren’t going to have that choice

well this is where I don’t have any issues with all weapons being in the game and everyone using whatever they have access to, because that to me feels more authentic, I came up on that, I was the noob with nothing once, and I accomplished something, and now I could start a new campaign and once again progress from scratch and get a sense of accomplishment in the game by progressing in power and tiers and having an actual sense of accomplishment rising through the campaign. That will be dead with the new BR system, and I don’t think people are really aware of how much of a loss that is going to be for this game. I feel it already just thinking of what I will miss out on when the change happens.

Which is why I been playing more now before the change, so I can enjoy the campaigns before they are dead and gone in their current form

Well it is partly selfish especially if you only focus on the side of it talking from the angle of taking advantage of the end game gear vs low level gear

But I am not just talking about that side, I am also talking about when I start a new campaign and want to start a new campaign. I don’t want to start a new campaign where there are tiers like what this new system brings, and worse, they are killing the campaigns completely, which ruins that side of the game completely and shortens the lifespan of the game for me, because when those campaigns are gone, and there is no more technological progression left in the game, then that part of the game is over

this is just my personal opinion, so naturally it is selfish in that regard, but just expressing it openly

I try to reason that maybe it won’t be so bad, but the more I think about it and realize what is being lost in this game, the worst it is to reason and accept it…so my only choice is to voice my opinion and then when it happens will try it and if all my concerns are exactly as I say they will be, I will be faced with the decision to walk away from this game…worst part of that too will be that I paid for a premium for this version of the game and not this new BR system, so will they refund me on the amount left after the change, doubt it

I don’t know if my opinion is biased due to having already maxed out almost all campaigns (almost there with Moscow), but I don’t see all black (yet).

My plan is to prepare different presets for each nation, so I will be able to quickly switch between low, medium, and high tier at will.

So far, what I’m SURE I will miss is just the ability to choose the theatre I’m going to fight in.

I am not at total black yet, but I do see a lot of negatives and very few positives, actually I don’t see any positives, which is why I am so vocal about it and unhappy about it

I think if this BR system was an optional side mode, I would be much more ok with it

The one thing I am holding onto now is that perhaps during off peak times some BR won’t be as bad as I imagine they are going to be during peak hrs

playing lower tiers will be something to try, and I have no doubt I can enjoy some of that to a much more limited extent. But if this game had an infantry only mode or rifle only mode, I would only play it sparingly to give me a break from the main game. I wouldn’t want that as the only way to play the game.

Just like I wouldn’t want to only play a mode where only high level weapons and gear is available…so this is why I find the game is going in the wrong direction, because it’s like it’s breaking up the game into tiers which to me is like breaking the actual game into a bunch of what should be side modes

and yes I too will miss choosing theatres, that was a very cool and attractive feature that made me like Enlisted in the first place, I always thought the campaigns style was very good and gave so much more depth to the game
