What do you think about? (2)

hello, this is the second of a series of topics focusing on your opinions on an element of the game …

the element of today is the most terrifying weapon obtainable by a single faction in the game the winchester 1895 (were you expecting something that ended with 42?) the weapon in question is the best bolt-action in the game
(only in moscow/stalingrad russian side)…

you can choose between 5 answers and from that choice you will have to build your opinion…

  1. the weapon is ok
  2. it requires some changes
  3. I don’t have it yet, but I have seen/used it and I want to give my opinion
  4. must be nerfed, its rate of fire and power is too high compared to German bolt-action and is equivalent to a semi-automatic, we dont have nothing for fight aganaist her, mg34,mp40 shit
    GERMAN SUFFER
  5. it must be buffed with 100 of rof and 20 of damage, the germans spam mg34 and danuvia, we at low levels can do nothing, ppd, madsen shit, we are powerless GERMAN OP NERF

GO ON

  1. Weapon is ok.
Don’t see any difference between other rifle since even in Stalingrad all automatic weapons are still number 1.

#1 for sure. I think the best bolt actions are the Lee enfield series overall but the 1895 is very good.

The 1895 has a higher RoF then most (all?) bolt actions and is a very good choice if you dont want to use SVT38s.

I also only have it in Moscow as I havent tried Stalingrad so it may be even better there

  1. It is a okay gun but the sights it has are just not for me. Would rather get the Mosing 91 and use bolt action fire rate perk.

The weapon is more than ok. It is a tool of prestige used by the elite of Enlisted. Enlightened philosophers and poets of the mighty bullet, seeking to grasp at perfection using a piece reserved for Titans…

On a serious note: In Moscow it’s unbeatable. In Stalingrad however, except looking as good as usual, it does not bring much more to the Soviet rifleman: bolties having boosted damage means even the starter 3 stars STOCK carbine is lethal, so the high damage the Winny is granting is unnecessary. It’s also having reduced rof compared to Moscow, which I declare heretical, why, DF, why???

It’s amazing and I love it, please don’t change it.

I like it in Moscow, but its nothing special in Stalingrad because they nerfed its rof, you are better off using the mosin there.

Also you can stab with the mosin which is always fun to do.

Both have 15 hitpower, tf are you smoking?

Ah maybe I remember my 91/30s being maxed at 17 instead then my bad

Yes, both are maxed at 17.2.

Yeah I never spent the bronze to get the 1895 maxed

I did.
I myself never maxed a 91/30.
Never liked the gun.

The sights are easier for me to pick up thats about it

Yeah. I don’t like them.
And the rof of the 91/30 is one of the slowest for BAs in the game.
For me, carbines<91/30<dragoon<1895

I dont use it. And replaced it with SVT38/40 very soon.
And I advise others not buying it to save silvers for later semi auto.

As I’ve suggested before, please add a respawn point mechanic like War Thunder, bolts cost less respawn points than semi-autos, which can make these weapons valuable in the game.Even advanced players can choose to use it as it costs less respawn points

At the same time, there is no need to highlight the use value of the bolt by weakening the automatic weapon, Because lower deployment costs are the value of bolted weapons

Respawn points can also be used for fighters, bombers or tanks. dev added a defensive machine gun to the bomber, unfortunately most players just treat the bomber as a suicide missile making the defensive machine gun pointless.

It’s hard to imagine that the weapons or functions that devs have taken care to make are useless in the eyes of some players.

All this is unimaginable. I in no way believe this is what dev expects.

Unnecessary. Semis are sidegrades AT BEST already, with them having:

  • less damage per bullet than bolties
  • less precision
  • greatly reduced rof, so that a lee Enfield or small mannlicher will shoot almost as fast with bolty perk
  • very high recoil
  • cost more bronze to upgrade.

I just don’t see the use of semis when bolties give better results. 🤷

On another side of the coin, limiting those using 3 assaulters squads of ppsh41, or full fg42II squads is appealing.

The game cannot function with a respawn point mechanic, as what happens when you don’t have the respawn points to spawn in even a basic squad? Do you just leave like in WT? That would completely destroy the flow of the game, as every game would devolve into a few high scoring people duking it out while everyone else watches or leaves. This runs counter to how the game is supposed to play, where with the squad mechanic you are supposed to feel like things are a large scale battle. Seeing as the game is set up to support the squad mechanic and the atmosphere it provides, the respawn point system would really just break everything, at least for invasion. It could for conquest though.

  1. it’s a great weapon

There are actually respawn point in conquest mode. every type of infanty squad cost 1, tank cost 1, planes cost 1. But player can’t charge their respawn point.

its simple to improve this.

every player has 100 spawn point at the begin of the game.

for example

infanty costs 1~20, you only need to spend 1 point for a squad equipped with bolt weapons

tank costs 10~25

plane costs 10~15, you can also redeploy your planes to refound the spawn point, which make fighter become playable (especially for those fighter without bombs), and prevent players from abusing suicide planes, if they commit suicide, they will lose or even deduct spawn points

more powerful weapons costs more.

score earned in the game, killing ememy etc. can be converted into spawn points.

this can make the game’s squad configuration more meaningful, rather than simply configuring the maximum number of soldiers and the best weapons
