A desertion I never would have expected and in their own game, perhaps something came up irl since they can be very busy. It was at defending the 3rd point, i couldn’t play properly after that because I couldn’t stop laughing.

What surprises me the most, is that deserters dont loose any ranking points.
Change that and they might stop deserting.
Maybe there would be less deserters if there would be
a) a little more time for idling - people need to take a pee or a phone call comes in or whatever. Being kicked for being idle too long results in the same connection-icon as actively leaving the battle.
b) the spawn bug of stuck players being corrected
c) players wouldn’t be thrown into battles that already run long enough to have captured first strategic points. This is like playing just as a substitude
Ranking means nothing
you sure? am pretty sure only the devs have that name decoration.
A) you can be AFK for i think 2 or 3 minutes before the game kicks you
B) I think this happens rarely, there is a kill soldier option to kill your soldier and respawn with another squad (best to report this if you experience it)

agreed, its just a hollow badge that acts as a milestone and serves no purpose, i only got that rank through continuous playing and rarely deserting.

as for B) yea, I know you can suicide your squad(members). But that’ll force you to play one of those squads you possibly didn’t want to play intensionally or to start with. Aside, it’ll waste tickets for nothing. And - playing with a 6-9 member squad, it’s actually pretty annoying to repeat suicide-killing each member until you are able to continue with the next squad. It’s simply easier to restart a battle without having this bug. If there was an option to kill the entire squad, that’d be an interim solution until the bug is fixed.

i wasn’t high but i was confused as i mistakenly thought that the crosshair name deco was a dev. lol
not sure if he was defending alone but our team was completely scattered and no one was defending the objective. I didn’t bother to quit because of my position and score, even if i lost i still get that 1.5 extra exp from being in my position because every exp counts.
I agree but losing points for desertion is a good start.
