Your response is perfectly in line with how I feel. This stuff is nice and all, but we still need BR 4 rifles for U.S. and Japan as well as many other things to fill existing gaps in the trees. It’s hard to understand why this is not a priority for developers…

Another update without Italian things. Happy for the Brits, but come on, one Italian tank would not kill you. Very low-effort additions: 3 ported vehicles and one gun with another mag.

Haha, cheer up! They finally released the Cromwell tank, just like your profile pic.
But that 57mm gun is kinda underwhelming. I think it could be a straight upgrade from the Crusader at BR 2.
Maybe we’ll get an even better Cromwell later on.
The theme of this update is: one for you.
And while its true that more could have been added, at least each faction got something equally. No new addition seems OP or lacklustre either and that is good news on its own.
However, I have a feeling that the next update will have many QoL improvements with significant customization and BR changes. I hope Im not wrong with this guess

Indeed, the overall performance of the AVS-36 is still very good. Its 800 RPM rate of fire is also great; even the historically accurate AVT-20 only has 750 RPM.
Now we can suggest adding a bayonet to the FG. With it, the gun can enjoy the prone machine gun buff.
its just a promotional picture… Oh yeah, it will be in Tunisia in game anyway since its BR3.
If only historical authenticity enjoyers had their own game mode.

Right now, the Cromwell Mk. I at BR 3 makes zero sense. The Churchill at BR 3 at least has usable hull armor, and its QF 6-pounder Mk. V can pen the Panther’s frontal plate . The Cromwell Mk. I has neither of these advantages—its Mk. II 6-pounder’s penetration is just barely short of the Panther’s frontal armor thickness. It’s basically a bigger Crusader, struggling even against the Panzer IV in BR 3 matches. Easily the most useless new addition this update.

So you are saying you can reliably survive in sturmpanzer ii for more than 8 shots? I don’t know, maybe show us some footage of you terrorizing BR3 Sherman/KV1 spam with your godly 150mm on top of il2m and xa38? Pls prove that sturmpanzer ii is a more effective vehicle than Pz4f1 and Pz3n to deserve BR3. Or perhaps like JP, German BR2 needs a big cannon to deal with Sherman 105 and KV1? On the other hand, KV2 serves its purpose well against BR4 panthers and tigers.

It’s just a bigger Crusader and struggles even against Panzer IVs in BR 3 battles.
It’s the most useless new vehicle in this update.
The mags are different so they dont share ammo
