We should bring the German Bf 110 G-2 back to its rightful BR 3

It feels far from enough. Military aircraft right now can’t effectively strafe infantry with cannons at all. The effective window is way too short to seize any chance, so we can only rely on external ordnance loadouts.

Aside from the outstanding anti-infantry performance of the StuG III N, I’m really curious how US and Soviet players feel when facing the StuG II.
It lacks the defensive capabilities of the StuG III N and feels really clunky to use.

The German G41 is confirmed to get buffed in the next update. I wonder if other similar semi-automatic rifles with bulky designs, including Mauser, Walther and Mondragón variants, will receive the same improvements.

If this aircraft gets moved down to BR3, Germany will truly make a comeback in the next patch.
It would at least let German BR2 units stand a chance against Soviet BR3 vehicles.
Soviet BR3 is undeniably strong, yet its dominance barely extends beyond this battle rating bracket.

This will not happen until the body armor protection is removed.

Just using body armor as the only balancing standard is way too one-sided.

There are plenty of ways to buff German vehicles.
For starters, move the two early Panzer IV tank destroyers down to BR3. Swap the APBC rounds of the Panzer III N for HE and HEAT shells, making them primary ammo just like Japanese tanks use.

Put the BF110 G-2 back to BR3.
Add the Brummbär to BR3 to counter the KV-2.
Also improve the reload speed and firing stability of German bolt-action rifles like the G41, and many more adjustments like these.

Germany has a clear direction for future updates, yet the current lineup is still too plain to reflect its actual military strength back then. The D-Day event is coming soon. Honestly, I just hope DF doesn’t mess it up like they did on Victory Day.

It was really disappointing that the annual Victory Day event only brought stickers, toy guns and skins. Those rewards don’t fit the solemn occasion at all. I really don’t want D-Day to turn out the same way.

Yeah, the Yak-9K got buffed not by higher penetration, but by adding high-explosive rounds. Still, I don’t think even an upgraded 37mm gun is that effective. If it were actually good, Soviet players would’ve been spamming 37mm Il-2s to wreck German tanks all the time.

I dont think the Brummbär belongs into BR 3. It got very good top frontal armor (bottom is still kinda bad) and it also got decent fire rate.

Its ballistic trajectory and rate of fire are both inferior to the StuG II. I already pointed out in my suggestion poll that it has a 20mm weak spot on its front armor, which can be penetrated by 37mm cannons. It deserves to stay at BR3, for it lacks a turret and machine guns, plus its side armor is even thinner.

Pathetic attempt to derail the suggestion and call attention to their cries.

Body armor has zero relation to aircraft balancing.

@Белобандит I hope you’re doing it as a joke or bait because it speaks volumes. Extremely childish.

Yes i will acknowledge the irony in doing it once myself that did derail it but you seem fit to mention it on any post regarding germany… kind of makes it seem like a joke.

The A-1 sadly is still BR II not BR I :frowning: So there is only FW in BR II and BR III.

Ahh yes, my mistake. The one without bombs or rockets is on BR 2.

It is very simple- as long as IL2 can be BR2 , BF110 being BR4 is ridiculous.

Rockets main advantage is not anti tank power, instead rockets are the best anti infantry tool - which is waaaay more important.

Also penetration power for rockets is very unreliable as a balance standard. German tanks generally have much weaker roof armor than other nations.

Especially during the Normandy campaign, I really wish the Bf 110 G-2 could come in and strafe the area with rockets. It’s hard to gain the upper hand when enemies swarm those sloped open terrains. Taking them out only with two 250kg bombs is simply not practical.
