The Primitiv-Waffen-Programm was Germany’s last ditch weapons program to arm the Volkssturm with simple and cheap weapons. More Volkssturm weapons should be added for some desperate late war variety.

Most of these weapons should be added to the Research Tree. The rifles can be foldered together. While some may think it’s a waste to add these cheap mostly bolt-actions they are neat for history and variety. I would give them to my Volkssturm riflemen squad. Each man would have a different rifle

First and foremost change the “VG 1-5” name to its proper MP 507. There were 5 Volksgewehr models and it’s just idiotic that this gun has been labeled “1 through 5”. It is Volksmaschinenpistole! MP! The MP 507 was intended to be a simple semi-auto carbine

I think all Guerrilla squads should be able to have any weapon that has been unlocked for example a German volksturm could use a Bren gun from the allies, or a soviet rifle. Or the French resistance squad could use a German Mg42 as long as it has been unlocked in the German tech tree

While Im not against the idea completely this would be waaayy OP.

Picking up an enemy weapon and having ammo for it is fair, but spawning with any factions weapons no that’s too far.

There are 10 Volksgewehrs. The MP 507 and VG 2 are in game.

That leaves 8 rifles to add. The old Berlin campaign Volkssturm riflemen squad (which I’m sure most of us have) has 9 men. If each man was to get a different rifle so all volksturm rifles are represented, that leaves 7 rifles. So 7 rifles would need to be added to the research tree, ideally foldered.

That leaves 1 weapon that could be added as say for a special squad

Personally I could see one of these being a premium/ event Engineer squad. I imagine desperate Volkssturm manning MG nests and artillery pieces and setting up defenses to hold back the Reds. I could see the Wetzlar carbine being their unique weapon since it’s the most unique of the bunch. A 5 round semi-auto carbine

i dont think bolt action 8mm kurz guns would have any place in this game, they’d all probably end up feeling like the delisle carbine, a bolt action rifle that needs to 2-tap people

It would be meme weapon for br 1. Not particulary useful but it would be fun. Also quite humiliating if you get killed by one

Darkflow has better things to do than to model and animate meme guns for BR1 that nobody will use

This game can’t only care about the top of the top BR 5 content. All BRs need a flow of content and should be treated equally. At a certain point they will run out of King Tigers to add
