It would be much more realistic if the AI crew members had the ability to use the vehicle mounted support weaponry while operating tanks. They use them in other vehicles such as planes. This has be asked for before but not in a few years and its time. Currently the machine gunners in tanks do nothing. This could be controlled similar to how you can choose squad aggression states.
Also, with regard to positions, being able to cycle through all positions in every plane is a must and the bombers like the Ju-188 A-2 with, forward machine guns should be able to control/direct the machine gunner to fire, even from the pilot’s seat(the gunner is sitting right there next to the pilot…), just as the player can do commander’s seat in many of the the tanks, such as the T28/E.
