Urgent changes

1.- The AI: They must urgently update the useless AI.
It can’t be that he gives an order to stay in one place 3 times and the idiots run towards the enemy.
2.- Movement speed on a tank: If tankers in war moved as disgustingly slow as in this game, they would have stopped producing tanks.
3.- Weapon change speed: We are talking about trained soldiers, with the adrenaline of war and it takes 300 years to change from one weapon to another even with the advantage.
4.- Experience: Leaving aside the campaign, 2 days ago I’m playing with a new unit and it’s still lvl 1. (I’ve killed and used the unit in each combat and it’s still lvl 1)
5.-Bugs: There are several, but the most annoying is when you shoot or throw a grenade and since you die right after you throw it, it no longer explodes or hits.
6.- Shield: It can’t be that as soon as the victory point changes, the enemies can spawn there with a shield that lasts 340 years and that they make you massacre while you can’t do anything.
7.-Defenders: These now have a reinforcement limit and also must wait 24 min to win, not to mention that with each point lost time is reset and not reinforcements as in the case of attackers. (DEFENSE BECOMES ETERNAL)(Give balance to this)

1 - Fixing the AI is probably not going to happen soon (devs are working on the merge)
2 - Use manual gears
3 - Weapons are heavy, you ever held an mg42?
4 - Exp is nerfed right now (maybe because the merge is happening and they want to temporarly slow down progression??)

6 - Just not true, they can’t spawn immediatly. Even tho its very rare, I’ve seen spawnkill happen in some matches

You either moved more than 40 meters away from them and they’re following you (that’s stupid but not an AI fault at all) or you didn’t ordered them to start in place. When I order my squad to hold their position as long as I am on the 40 meters range they stay there even taking the available cover and shooting enemies when possible.

On roads and flat terrain they are quite fast, but on uneven terrain, mud, grass, forest, sand, snow I hope you know that they didn’t moved max speed, even tanks like the T-34 that had wider tracks relative to it’s weight to better maneuver on difficult terrain still had its velocity severely affected.

Not a issue at all.

Later squads like the 3 and 4 version of them take a huge amount of xp to level up and remembering the fact that at level 1 they don’t get the benefit of the 100% extra xp from the blue line upgrades you may take a bit more depending on your personal performance with it. Again, nothing wrong with that, it shouldn’t be easy to upgrade those late game squads.

Nasty bug this grenade one but it does not happen everytime, one that is bothering me is when I am building a rally point and my engineer change from the hammer to the pistol all of a sudden.

It isn’t immediately, I even find the time way too long tbh, just try to not fuck around a lost objective without a reason.

I think for number 7 he wants the defender to have a spawn limit like the attackers have which sounds dumb for invasion I think.

Talking about soldiers, not special forces. People fumble even when not under pressure.

Ive known plenty of soldiers that cant shoot for shit lol.

Not really. I dont think there’s any good reason for defenders having unlimited reserves. Cuz it makes death even less significant than normally. Completely crippling any reason why to stay alive. Rewarding only brainless rushes to objectives.

Devs could easily just give them advantage like 1000 vs 1500 resources or smth like that.
But since one’s faction 1000 points do not equal 1000 points of other’s faction (Because of artificial tryouts for balance), 1000 vs 1000 would be just okay.

I reimagined an invasion match with both sides having spawn limits, and came up with an issue if defending team runs out of spawn points before the attacking team gets t last cap, how would the devs make the match end with that? In that case, the match ends kinda like a confrontation because the defending team ran out of respawn points. honestly, devs could figure it out or maybe I’m just trying to think too hard about something that’s never been tested.

Guns are HEAVY.
Its by divine intervention (and coding and balancing) that the soldiers ingame are able to hold, aim down sights, and fire some weapons. Some weapons don’t weigh that much, (for example some SMGS and some carbines) but some weapons like AT rifles and LMGS are really only fired while being prone. And somehow the soldiers are able to sprint around while carrying mines, grenades, 2 guns, all their gear, some have their campaign backpacks (which can weigh like 50 lbs), pistols, ammo, shovels and axes, and flasks is rather impressive.

In my suggestion defenders revieved a certain amount of tickets per point. Once depleted on first one they spawn on next in line and prepare for next assault
