Unique minor nations in the Future

Most WWII first person shooters offer only the big three major powers like the United States, Germany and the Soviet Union with maybe some Japan or Britain. And the Reason behind this is because lots of players are interested in these nations only. However Enlisted offers a unique opportunity to add more miscellaneous nations to the game because of how few players are needed for a match.

Even if you could not do an entire match with one minor nation you could add it so that there can be two nations in a battle on the same side for example the Tunisia campaign from what I read on the website is to be Britain vs Germany, but what if we could have it so on the Axis team you could play as Italy with the Germans or have some defected Vichy French units fighting with the allies this list goes on. Some other examples could be Romanian, Hungarian, Bulgarian and German forces together on an Eastern front campaign in 1943. You could even add some pre fall of France campaigns like Poland or operation Weserübung or battle of France.

My point is, is that since the game only requires 20 people to make a match minor nations that would not get very many players could be possible by them selves but if not supplemented by major powers on the same team

I think these are best left as premium soldiers, except the more major forces like italy inside of Tunesia.

Would be nice to avoid that because knowing Gaijin they would make them super OP

Well they are going to add OP premium soldiers anyways, seeing how we already have those. Might as well make them unique at least.

That’s what most people have been asking for, so I’m gonna agree with that one. Make premium squads unique with different uniforms and nationalities, rather than P2W.

We also do have to take into consideration that enlisted only requires 20 people to make a match seem like 100v100

well I would assume that you are mentioning premiums because of the lack of players that would play small nations

There would be no seperate matchmaker. They would simply be under Allies or Axis.

well if the game is going for Historical accuracy that would not work in some instances for example yes there were allied troops in say Norway but Poland was all alone

That would imply we have or wil lget poland / norway.
We cross that bridge when we get there.

Back to the original topic,
I’d love to see Free french squads in Tunisia or even New Zealand/ Indian infantry as they made up the bulk of the 8th Army.

But you could even set a campaign around the ill-fated invasion of Greece by Italy or even the French Alpine fighting between France and Italy!

I wanna play as British Paratroopers so bad. Airborne units could also make use of the M1 Carbine, which was issued to some airborne units during the World War 2.

If they don’t make the special squads premium, we will get another OP copy-paste squad like the current premium assaulters. So I think these should be premium

Minor nations would appeal to a lot of people to bring them to the game because not everyone lives in Russia America and Germany

The premium approach to minor nations works fine for War Thunder.
