Actually, I think it’s a decent idea, but I’m worried that the developers might tweak the stats and turn it into some overpowered hybrid of the Bazooka and the M9 “Stovepipe.”
That could easily overshadow the Panzerschreck 60’s lobbed trajectory. Plus, given Japan’s historically limited resources, it’s hard to say how much penetration power they could realistically achieve for a weapon under such conditions.

Exactly, you’re right. So when the Soviet side lacks good tanks at BR5, I think the same way—now Japan is truly lacking effective anti-tank weapons at BR3.

Both of you can argue about ATR in another topic. And PTRS-41 is semi-auto.
PzB-39 is just as bad as Boys.
Type 97 is overpowered among all ATRs but still only an ATR.

Why are you even worrying about something that will unlikely happen? The penetration value of at launchers in game are mostly accurate. So why will this be different?
It’s not like 120mm penetration for a 93.5mm rocket is a impressive number. The rocket for M9 bazooka has the diameter of 60mm but can penetrate 127mm of armor.

Note that each of these guns are assaulters & infantry squad weapons that are meta.
Bar being exception but at BR3 arguably best choice due to least movement restrictions.
Here, note how you managed to find most of the guns that has absolutely nothing to do with meta.

fights a 20 round mg, scoped select fire not allied scoped select fire, are all scoped assault rifles without a scoped allied assault rifle, are br4 rifles with nearly half the load time of the johnson or two thirds the load time and more bullets, the garand and the g43 are not equal weapons the allies does not have a br4 rifle by definition when fighting the allies its meta.

a 20 round mg fighting a 75 round is not a slight difference, an 8 round with a 3 second fighting a 10 round with 2 second reload is not a slight difference, difference does not mean a clear superiority, an sf and ars a scope is not a slight difference,
an mg doing the same damag and the same 100 round magazine at 500 erpm fighting 1600 is not a slight difference

America has more shotguns and revolvers, like said germany has 0 revolvers.
Which clearly means germany loses 100% of time in revolver vs revolver because they dont have them.
And only 99% of time in shotgun vs shotgun, because GE has 1 broken multi barrel gun.
