The rifle was used by rear line troops in Germany throughout Germany, during the war in 1943 Germany put Denmark under direct military occupation which entailed with the seizure of Denmark military surp, which included the carbines, rifles, MG, smgs they had in storage, many of them though would end up in the hands of Volkssturm, I sadly have no photo evidence at this time but I will cite where I found the quote of volkssturm who had these and mentioned it which I will link.
