Transfer of ZB-26 to 3 BR

The ZB-26 machine gun is more similar to the “Light Machine guns” class in terms of characteristics and convenience of hand-held shooting
I suggest:

  1. Transfer the ZB-26 to the class of light machine guns.
  2. Change the “recoil control” parameter from 10 units to 20 units.
  3. The “Spread” parameter should be reduced from 37 units to 30 units.
  4. Change the “Sprint speed” parameter from 50 to 80.
  5. Remove the “increase the spread when firing a machine gun in motion” parameter. 6) Replace ZB-26 with 3 BR.
Justification of these changes in real life:
  • YES
  • NO

I will add it as an argument to change the parameters of the ZB-26 in Enlistede:
This machine gun has a handle on the left side, which makes it easier to use, as you can see in the video*

What do you even mean by this? ZB is already classified as LMG.
Unless you meant submachinegun for whatever reason.

The Enlisted game has an unspoken division of machine guns into two types:

  1. They have a slow sprint (parameter 50 units) (which makes the soldier slow, he is simply called a “machine gun”).
  2. Has from 60-100 sprints (which makes the soldier faster, it is called a “Light machine gun”). And also "Light machine guns have better accuracy and convenience of shooting (an example of such machine guns is Browning M1918a2).

Maybe he meant it was more like an automatic rifle like the BAR?.. although which one is actually lighter? Plus, the ZB’s magazine just isn’t big enough for the BR3.

The m1918а2 Browning magazine holds 20 rounds.
The ZB-26 magazine also holds 20 rounds.

Now I understand what you meant. Even though you completely made up that way of using terms.

ngl at Br3 it would be absolutely slaughtered

at BR2, it actually fares ok

All MGs should get their movement dispersion penalty lowered.

MGs are already limited by few squad members.

Also I never understood where there aren’t BR1 MGs

So you want a german BAR
Actually that role is already exist → KE7

I wouldn’t use the ZB-26 at BR3 with the KE-7 available, and they also have the Battle pass FN 1930 MG at BR3 which is more or less a BAR clone. Hell, I don’t even use the ZB at BR2 preferring the MG-13, so upping it a level will more or less just kill it entirely IMOP.

Hmm, to elaborate: the upcoming Chinese ZB-26 with a 40-round magazine might be released for the US faction ahead of the new Chinese squad. A weapon like this would be far better suited for BR 3.

After all, this weapon still suffers from poor usability as its magazine blocks the sights.

Now I get the point, but I think it would be better to improve the accuracy of the KE-7, which is already BR3. The ZB-26, at least in my opinion, isn’t used as much, and it won’t be as good in CQB due to poor visibility, something that doesn’t happen with the M1918.

Enlisted’s ZB-26 only has 20 rounds, so even if you upgrade its parameters, it’s still not suitable for high-intensity combat in Tier 3 battles.

Next you’ll ask to uptier my Bren to br3?

Not a chance, mate!

if it goes br3. We need another mg to replace it, I don’t see an issue with lowering its dispersion by a little and increasing the reload by 0.2 seconds, got a 30 round mag and some slight buffs to its damage to become br3. But as it currently stands, it’s debatable if it belongs in br3 as is. In my personal opinion, if we just increased a br without any changes it would be overshadowed by so many options effectively making it useless.

No one’s going to use it when you have an mg34 in the same BR, especially because you’re getting more than double the magazine size. That’s why it needs to gain an extra 10 rounds in the mag with 120 rounds total and the other buffs to make it at least a side grade at br3.
