This is a fairly simple topic made to collect issues with the localization of the game:
There have been a lot of localization fixes last year but the more reports about them the more we can fix.
This means: typos, incorrect grammar inconsistencies in weapon/vehicle names and their descriptions and such.
Things such as renaming a weapon to something else is not part of localization, so these would need their own suggestion topic.
If it is for example an issue where most of the description of something is wrong, it would be faster to report if you also include a rewrite (that fixes the mistakes without being completely different)
Here is an example based on an older fix:
Original:
Ju 188 A-2 - This is a further development of the Ju-88 high-speed bomber. medium bomber with MW-50 engine boost system. Defensive armament consisted of an MG-151/20 cannon, an MG-131 machine gun and a coaxial MG-81Z machine gun.
Fixed version:
Ju 188 A-2 - A medium bomber with the MW-50 engine boost system, it was a further development of the Ju 88 high-speed bomber. Its defensive armament consisted of 2 MG 151 cannons, 1 MG 131 machine gun and 2 MG 81 machine guns.
Reported ages ago when the new helper UI was first added but I believe it was lost at some point.
In the german translation it is mentioning a specific button with by the english label which is beyond stupid since it doesnt exist in the german version.
Some of the descriptions of vehicles in the game are plagiarized and stolen descriptions from Wikipedia. Do you consider this to be an issue worth reporting, or should I not bother compiling them?

The Type 100 machine gun utilizes the same magazine design as the MG-15.
I would still like my previous question answered if you are able to do that. Is plagiarism considered an issue worth rectifying or should I strictly provide examples of factual or grammatical errors?
Okay, understood. I’m not available to take screenshots in game right now but I can confirm its still a problem, but descriptions mentioning the Chi-Ha tank have capitalization errors and say “Chi-ha”
And correct me if i am wrong but this one do align with theme of this topic
So the main problem is weapon name “fusil anti-tank”, while in description you literally have “fusil antichar”
“later 30s” isn’t proper English and sounds unnatural. It should say something like “late 1930s” instead"

Edit: This should also say “meet the demands of wartime” instead of “the war time”

Unnecessary comma, unnatural sentence flow. “with a non-removable muzzle and plywood stock” would be better. “Wehrmacht soldiers” is unnecessary, just saying “main rifle of the Wehrmacht” would be better.
The MP40 is lighter than the MP38 by 0.1kg and it fires faster by 10 RPM so this entire description is really pointless and should just be rewritten entirely
P08 Luger
The description says it has a higher muzzle velocity than the P38 but that is just straight up incorrect. The P08 and P38 have the exact same muzzle velocity stats in this game, so this description should be rewritten into something actually truthful
Description states it has a “medium” rate of fire but its ROF is actually almost 900 RPM when upgrades are applied so this description is just misleading to the user

Description says it has two magazines attached to the gun but this is false, they are just boxes meant for holding ammunition and aren’t magazines. Misleading to users thinking its a traditional gun magazine

Description says the weight of the magazine increases recoil which is completely false information. It actually has less recoil than the MG34.
As someone who speaks Russian and English, I can clearly see that most descriptions in English are poor translations from Russian.
Which is very surprising. It’s not like there are not enough Rus/Eng translators and interpreters, not like Google translate wouldn’t have done a better job, not to mention recent AI developments.

Others are written as “T-50 is a …”
Then there are descriptions which simply mention the name of the tank and start a lecture like “T-34 The most…”
And finally some vehicle descriptions don’t start by mentioning the tank at all

“with A non-removable muzzle”
You don’t need THE here
If we’re talking about a specific gun and not a random one, it should be “THE gun”. Also I’d replace “gun” with “weapon”

My favorite “In a spike”, which should be interlocking armor (interlocking plates). This is the most bizarre auto-translation I’ve ever seen.
Why is the “a” lower case in M5A1?

Honestly, there are so many awkward translations and amateur calques that you should hire a professional translator for a complete overhaul.
Just hire a freelance translator from Fiverr, they literally start their pricing at $10 USD, not even that expensive for Gaijin
Is it really worth just half-assing the product you are selling to people by using Google translate. I could probably be here until 2027 going through all of the unnatural language in English alone. Can’t imagine other localizations (besides RU) is any better
The M1903A3’s description, while not incorrect, could be expanded upon.
