Already fixed
This would be nice, personally i don’t like that they have the vehicle name in the description since you can find it 1 line above, but that’s a lot of work so I doubt they would get reworked
Already known, will be fixed
Ya, mentionned below
Is it still relevant? I don’t think you can see this anywhere now
True, I’ll write these up
Same
Do you have an idea of how to rewrite it? The description doesn’t look good even with this change
Forwarded it
Well in the context of the game it makes sense, since the war is still ongoing, altho yes it does lack the
Good point, i’ll forward it

These 3 were as well
Already has an existing report so can remind about it
I’ll write them up now
This one can wait a bit tho, since it is technically correct, even if it is not that informative

Does the game base its localization more on American English or British English? I’ve seen a lot of mentions of the word “caliber” spelled as “calibre” and I’m wondering if it would just be better to use a more neutral word such as “cartridge” that isn’t spelled differently across English dialects since a lot of people probably assume its a spelling error at first glance. Technically not wrong but it would probably be something worth considering
Can I rewrite it from scratch or does it have to be consistent with the description in Russian?
If I had a go:
The T-34 (STZ) was distinguished by its all-steel road wheels and a hull featuring unique interlocking armor plates. These design choices were dictated by the critical shortage of rubber and the need for simplified production during the Battle of Stalingrad
But are we in 1941? 1945?
I think it would make more sense to talk about WW2 in the past, in general.

Yes. Everything is happening everywhere at the same time. The battles in Berlin, Stalingrad, Tunisia, and Manchuria are all happening at the exact same time

I also wanted to mention an example of American English spelling with the “Gray” BP plane skin here.
@Euthymia07-live What dialect of English is preferred for the localization? because I have found both examples of American English and British English in the game

MG30
“…and a side mounted magazine” would be better. Also I don’t know if the MG30 would be a “classic example” because nobody has probably seen this gun outside of Enlisted before. I don’t know, just seems like a weird way to describe it.

G98 Wartime
“with a dust cover” would be better. or “an added dust cover”

Carcano 7.35mm
“, however…” → “. However…” Start a new sentence at “However” so the entire description isn’t one giant sentence.
“War” → “war”
“produced in small quantities” → “it was produced in small quantities”

Breda mod.30
“, fires from a closed bolt…” → “. It fires from a close bolt…”. Ditch the comma and make it a new sentence

FNAB-43
“lie under the barrel” → “lay under the barrel”

G98 Sniper
“Scope mount can be installed on the Gewehr 98” sounds very weird. I recommend just replacing this description with something like “Sniper modification of the Gewehr 98 rifle”

Do you think the developers would deposit any gold into my account for doing all of this proof reading for them? The answer is probably “No” but you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take, and all…

Probably not interesting enough, but when purchasing a soldier level up, the game only suggests using gold, while there is another option available.

Noticed the JP machine gun buildable has a period in its name for some weird reason

also inconsistent since there is a hyphen while there isn’t for the rest of the japanese mgs
so it should be Type 92 HMG
i will take a look at the new issues later, currently busy with other tasks
there has been some fixes about previous issues already in the game

The BP version should probably be named "Hs 123 A-1 “Black 52”

I know I should probably report this to DMM, who is in charge of the Japanese translation, but since I’m not even sure if they’re still active, I’ll post it here. This is on the Japanese version:The Pavesi SVT’s “self-loading rifle” is incorrectly translated as “地蔵装填式小銃” (Jizō-loading rifle).
“Jizō” refers to Ksitigarbha, a Buddhist bodhisattva who saves people in this world between the death of Shakyamuni Buddha and the appearance of Maitreya. It is definitely not something you load into a rifle.
Send the full translated version for what the line should be if it’s in a non-english language plz

“イタリア製の地蔵装填式ライフルの試作品で、設計は主にトカレフのライフルを踏襲している。8×59mmブレダ弾を使用し、固定式10発マガジンを備えている”
tlanslated:
“This is a prototype of an Italian ‘Jizo’ loading rifle. The design mainly follows that of the Tokarev rifle. It uses 8×59mm Breda ammunition and is equipped with a fixed 10-round magazine.”

the new saboteurs have some language issues in English, feel free to add on to this
One that I noticed was:
“Impossible to disguise: you are seen!”
It should be “You have been spotted! You cannot change your uniform”

I noticed this too, I thought “you are visible” was a more appropriate translation, since you cant change clothes while in sight of the enemy

There is an issue with APC score
Current:
“Mobile spawn point uses by allied squads”
Fixed:
“Mobile spawn point used by allied squad”
Currently when your vehicle is on fire the message says something like “you can leave FROM the vehicle”, while it should obviously be “you can leave the vehicle”.

The TT A6M2 Zero still says it is a carrier plane when the version ingame was unable to be carrier launched which is why the carrier start was removed. So could the devs please update the discription?
