This isn’t a great verification. On xbox, i finally found out that the players with no icon are also on xbox. I can find their names when searching on xbox gamertags. The people with controller icons are on Playstation, and the pc icon on pc. I would assume Playstation is coded the same as xbox on this.
I was hoping there was a much easier way to tell than manually searching like a specific number code on the name or something.
This is true but is only strong in specific ranges. The game does pull your reticle around though. It’s only really noticeable on snipers.

Every time someone complains about Gorov I lose interest in discussing with them.
Greyparrots loved using this gun as the “proof” that the devs are biased and what not.
Guys, nobody uses this gun because of its terrible sights. Top loaded weapons usually have enhanced stats to make up for their bad sight picture.
We have been asking for a universal SFR nerf for a long time on this forum.
The fact that a 9 man trooper squad can have more firepower than a more limited assaulter squad - this made BR5 uniquely imbalanced.
Also if I read correctly, they will buff assault rifle accuracy and control, also buff SFR accuracy but nerf SFR control.
This means SFR will NOT be useless at all, instead it means they will force you to use them with bursts and tap fire. If you are accurate and have the skill for it you can still dominate because of one hit downs.
Also this is an indirect buff to G43K because its a trooper weapon, and what you are complaining about premium SFR - the Krieghoff FG shoots slowly, I bet that one specifically will be less effected by higher recoil than FG42 I.

This might seem like a basic question, but after reading the forum for so many years, this is only the second time I’ve seen it. I’ve already said it: I don’t intend to waste my time creating suggestions, but if you really want to know the reasons behind these changes, there’s no better way than to do a field test. On this forum, it’s always the same people I see creating suggestions, but in the game, there are people who would never touch a forum of any kind.
This is the step the developers should take.
If you want transparency, look to the people.

Obviously, you were arguing with someone before me.
But here’s the thing - I’ve got four Gorovs in my setup, and I was basically benefiting from his damage buff up until 15.3. After my post, they bumped him to 15.3, which pretty much brought him in line with 14.4, as far as I understand.
So yeah, I know Gorov really well. I enjoy playing him and all that.
And I’m confidently saying that Gorov is actually a better alternative than the AVS-36. And after the big nerf to the AV, when Gorov ends up being the only untouched one, he’s going to be straight-up broken.
I mean, I’m not complaining - I have him myself - but that’s kinda hypocritical.

BR5 has never been balanced - if anything, it attracts players who are tired of constant white markers and the slow pace of gameplay like in tiers 1–3.
And there’s also constant spam of HVARs, tanks, and everything else - more than in other tiers. So what, are you going to nerf tankers and pilots too? Maybe nerf rocket tanks while you’re at it?
Have you even played on the test server? Because I have - I tested it myself, I play BR5 all the time, and for me and for players with better aim than mine, everything feels fine.
There’s one issue with the G43 Kurz - it’s not available for purchase, and it’s basically worse than any assault rifle. We tested it against the StG and even the Krieghoff - it’s terrible. This is basically a nerf to squads people already paid for.
Krieghoff and akt40 were never OP P2W to begin with though. Argument doesn’t really work here. They should of been left alone. They also shouldn’t sell something (the akt40 squad) knowing they’re about to nerf it. This doesn’t make anyone feel good about their expensive purchase, not to mention the squad doesn’t come with specialist. Krieghoff paras are paras, and the gun was very mediocre. I preferred to use it for the slower fire rate and being more accurate with the limited ammo.
