There is frankly nothing to do in the game, from the last update for pumping there were only three levels in maintenance, which everyone who wanted to pump for a long time. There is frankly nothing to do in the game. Where are the promised interesting events (and not an event-substitute like an addition to daily tasks)?
Alternatively, you can improve the system of daily rewards, as in the vartander, so that every day you can complete complicated tasks, receive a special currency for it and use it to buy something unique - old event units that the player missed, weapons that were in twitch drops, equipment, decorators, unique appearance, and so on.
These are not events, but attempts to somehow keep the audience of the game, which, by the way, failed, people are tired of the constant need to enter the game. There is no content if the game that the developers have turned into a job. And if you discard the pumping, then the game is one-sided and buggy. We need high-end content that doesn’t exist, that’s what I’m talking about.
There is also panic about the future.
The developers have tried to portray a future world for the player without the process of self-construction.
This future world sounds wonderful.
But repeated development reports and QA are often vague, ambiguous and even inconsistent.
Even sketches that look like random scribbles are used as development reports.
And there were constant delays in meeting one expected schedule after another.
Leaving players in a growing panic, especially veteran players, wondering if what you’re grinding will have value and meaning in the future. In response, the development team only explained that for players just starting out, unlocking development content is reserved. For older players, it seems that at the moment they are trying to get around compensation and reparations by letting old content pile up like junk and rot in older players’ storage.
Or they may think that the old potato varieties in the fields are so out of date that they want to try to get the old potatoes to leave on their own in order to make room and a future for the new varieties of potatoes.(For some cultural systems, potatoes can be replaced with leeks)
IF only events or marathon can attract you to play the game, then this game is not actually worth to play to you.
Game should be fun and help you relax, not an “on-call” job to do.
There are more than 100 small arms, dozens of equipment and uniforms, nearly 90 combat ground vehicles, and around 80 aircrafts. Lots of maps, 6 game modes, 14 soldier classes.
Now check again how much of that is premium, and how much f2p guns are just kar98 variants.
After playing for 2 years i don’t even play solo anymore, events would bring me daily but this is still 1-3 games, i noticed friends playing less as well.
Maybe it’s just waiting for rework, maybe something else.
But after maxing there is not much to do, having someone to play with helps but that true for most games so yeah
I understand this feeling, I’m also feeling this already long ago.
It just means the rules of the game modes are not fun to stay players here. But many players still pay attention to the collection content itself.
The content of the game may attract players, but the game is not fun. This is the biggest failure of DF.
Your intent to push developers to add new content is incorrect, they can’t keep adding new content to keep players, no one can do that, it’s inefficient.
They should find a way to make a lot of content in the game fun and organically combined.
He’s basically just complaining about how his feeling about he was drawn to the content of the game but doesn’t want to click the orange Start Game button.
At the same time there is literally 90% of the meh in the game being sentenced to death by savvy players through useless claims, as if these things never existed in the game.
From the perspective of user experience, users themselves do not really know or express what they want.
So he claimed the lack of content in the game, and asked the developers to add new content so that it could re-drive him for another round of grinding.
WT keep his players group not simply by adding new content to retain players, even if WT does not update, his player base will still remain for a long time.
New content surely play roles for this, but not all. The game itself is more important.
Likewise, WOT and WOWS.
If the developer sees it as the only draw point for players, it’s honestly a bit of a pyramid scheme, or a bleeding wound, or a leaky bucket.
Or like a boat taking in water, keep bailing out (adding new things)
Every bucket leaks. Adding new water is important, but how to make the bucket less leaky is another key point.
