Against the slowest firing German SMG, body armour increases your survival by an astoundingly unfair 0.13 seconds (what a massive advantage!)… The distance you live from the server makes more difference to your survivability than wearing body armour.
I’m a German main (according to my stats). I’ve never found it to be a problem.

But it ain’t a game issue….it’s a feature. Let’s be real, if you can’t cope with a tiny 10% then should uninstall and just quit playing. In reality it’s not even noticeable so stop lying to yourself by saying it is.
Don’t know why you all push for A symmetrical factions because that would be boring. Japan gets TT swords, Soviets get body armour, Germany gets the best tanks and the US get insane aircraft payloads.

If it doesn’t matter, than it can be removed without any problems.
If it does matter, it needs to removed.
Originally, most of the playerbase did not, it was a direction made by the devs and the players just came to terms with it.
But its a long story really.

Im not sure why you are trying to compare a vehicle of which only one can be used at a time to something all soldiers in a squad can have.

I’d rather be up against body armour than a P47. It’s always used in every BR5 game and can literally wipe the board with HVARs. At least I can fight back against body armour.
You said it yourself, in BR5.
So you can escape it by playing lower BRs, but body armour is available in every BR. If it was only in BR5, I would be more forgiving.
But in BR3 for example, 10% damage reduction makes the G41 a two hit down rifle instead of 1 hit down/1 hit kill. This difference is crucial since G41 does suffer from very long reload too.
Same goes for Arma guerra.
All Axis SMGs except Kiraly and every weapons effective range is reduced by 10%.

In order to get more players in Enlisted we must treat eachother with min amount respect. We need to be better than CoD amd BF fan base. I fully expect everyone to act grown and stop the name calling. Learn how to disagree reapectfully or find a new game.
