The Turán III was the final development of the Turán series of tanks, based on the previous iteration, the Turán II (The Turán II - A native Hungarian tank for the Axis on BR2). The Turán II itself was an upgunning of the first variant, fitted with a short 75mm cannon, but this cannon did not preform well enough against more heavily armored soviet tanks like T34s and KV1s, which became quite a problem. So, the Turán III’s development had started to remedy that. The turret was enlarged significantly to make room for the much larger long 75mm M43 L/55 cannon, which was a locally made licensed copy of the 75mm PaK 40. More armor was added to the hull and turret, going from 50mms frontally to 75mms, and 25mm on the sides to 35mms, which made it much more survivable. This would be a great tank for BR3 as a nice addition to the Hungarian subfaction, and serve as a nice contrast to the long 75 Panzer 4s on BR3; it would have better armor not as easily destroyed by lower BR tanks, it would still have the same good 75mm cannon, and have an amazing reverse speed.

Any minor Axis faction representation is something I’d like to see. Especially in areas where there’s nothing past BRI except German equipment

I would prefer this to be something like an event squad with a Hungarian squad.
Adding it to TT doesn’t have any special points, but if it’s a squad you can have Hungarian soldiers!

That point was brought up in another post I made about the Turan II, I think, with Hungarian crews. If, eventually we get Hungarian voice lines added to the game, it wouldn’t be only for one squad, as it would be a waste only to have it for one squad, like we’ve seen with French and Chinese (which we should get an option to change soldiers’ nationalities to), so either way, we could have Hungarians in game. I’m not too opposed to it being added as an event tank, but I’d much rather it be TT.

Interesting, it seems it had 75mm of armor on turret and on chassis while having 145 pen - basically a long Panzer IV gun.
So gameplay wise it would be a Panzer III M with Panzer IV gun.
I bet however that cupola is a massive weakspot.
they didn’t record the chinese voices just for the 2 squads we have, they had those chinese voicelines sitting around for years and years in the special Chinese client of Enlisted and they just ported them over
I am fairly certain the last time they actually recorded new voicelines for the game is when they added paratroopers
