I find that guerrillas always get killed before reaching a tank, I’d prefer para dropping on the tank if I really wanted it gone

Not all tanks Spawn are suitable for counter tanks just saying sometimes is better to sneak and take em out by urself

That’s where I’d rather use a saboteur, less attention and the extra sprint speed is nice

On a more serious note, there’s a reason that this guy truly believes that this is true btw.
After seeing his multiple replays, he almost always exclusively plays with console players only by tuning off the crossplay AND almost always playing low BR games.

He actually never really met a decent enemy team consists of decent PC players so his paradrops never really had been disrupted by transport airplanes gets shot down by AA nor paratroopers gets shot down in mid air. It’s been breeze for him to use Paratroopers because his enemies all had been low BR console players and bots.

No wonder he thinks that the Paratroopers are the most versatile and powerful squads in the game.

Literally first game of replays is high BR :rofl: I play all BRs with crossplay off and on but good job, you can look at my last week of replays :clap:t2:

Can’t wait to play Paras and either be pissed off at how lame they are or super OP and winning every match. Some day i will agree with one of you, or maybe you’re both too extreme in your opinions. Only time and experience will tell.

That’s a journey for yourself to find out my friend. They are extremely versatile and powerful if you make the right choices but at the same time your drop can go completely wrong sometimes. Like I said, high risk high reward :+1:t2:

I don’t disagree with either of you, i relish the prospect of having more tactical and strategic variety available. I’m sure I’ll make excellent, and very poor use of paratroopers, depending on the match, and the quality of my decisions to use them. Based on what I’m reading here, I wouldn’t recommend them for f2p players with limited squad slots, as it seems like they’re more useful when dropped, which isn’t nearly always a viable option.

You can always spawn them on the ground as quick assaulters but they come with limited ammunition. As a ftp player I’d probably just stick with assulter, engineer and machine gunner.

Yeah, that’s my point based on what I’ve read above. I’m not f2p, I’m premium + 1 extra slot for usa and germany, but still new since march, so have many fewer squads than most vocal people on here and discord. I will say tho that a lot of discussions by veteran players forget/ignore the experience of newer players while complaining about some thing or another, and then in the next thread complain about how few players there are. Not saying that specifically applies here, just seems like a good place to drop the observation.

Talking about ammo being OP - but literally spawning ontop of the enemy is fine.

For real though, the only OP thing about paras is their increased HP. They have 15 HP effectively just like soviet armor.

Makes no sense as a balance argument.

Qualities of life limitation will always make something “unfun”. Its simply just as stupid of a balance limitation as FG42 starting in semi auto used to be. AI for example doesn’t even consume ammo.
