The new anti-tank weapon

The new anti-tank weapon
Design is an elite team.
Personnel: 4 blasting operators, 1 engineer
The second weapon slot is fixed, while the first weapon slot can be freely selected.

The project began in March 1943. In June of the same year, SRI sent personnel to provide guidance successively. By September, the design of the rocket projectiles was taken over directly by the NII-3 Weapon Research Institute of SNK. The caliber of the rocket projectiles was revised to 82mm (due to the design drawing inspiration from the RS-82 rocket projectiles used by the air force), the body structure was changed to metal products, the initial speed of the rocket projectiles was increased to 200 meters per second, and the range was also increased to 300 meters. At this stage, the Red Army began to test the armor-piercing capability. The test field data reached 90-100mm. This was a pleasing figure, indicating that the new rocket projectiles could deal with all common German tanks and even challenge the frontal armor of the Tiger tank. The electric firing device of the rocket launcher was changed to a traditional mechanical type, and a shield similar to the tank nightmare was installed to protect the shooter.
At a distance of 50 meters, it can penetrate the frontal armor of a Tiger tank.

Germany:Panzerfaust 30(br3)

This weapon is probably familiar to all of you. It has the same power as the 60 model, but the range is a little shorter.

Do you hope to see such a team at future events?
The elite Soviet mountain troops, the fierce militia hiding in the ruins… That’s very interesting!

If the panzerfast 30 is in a 6-man squad configuration, with one of them per member, then that may be interesting, otherwise it’s boring

Yes, because I’d like Soviets AT weaponry instead of captured axis ones in my lineup.

The length is 2090mm and the weight of the empty firing barrel is 37 kilograms.

So it has only been tested on the training ground.
So I would suggest that it is a high-level team and cannot be used on a large scale. Let’s just assume that it went to the front line for a test run. Well, it can be considered as having a reason to join the battle (aren’t we still lacking all kinds of strange weapons?)

Well… The superhumans in Enlisted who can carry a 52 kg Type 97 automatic cannon or a 45 kg Solothurn S-18/100 all by themselves would probably just shoulder-fire them like a PanzerSchreck

Could simply add the Solothurn mechanic (prone only to shoot) to it so people won’t complain.

Then it would make sense, be special, be Soviet, and still be good.

I would use such a device.

it’s very small, even smaller than the M9 bazooka

A launcher with 90-100mm of pen at BR4? Am I missing something here? Not to mention that it would be a domestic design locked to a premium squad while 60% of the current Soviet AT line is copy and pasted.

PF30 should be TT.
Soviet Panzerschreck design can be event or premium though.

What? This is definitely 2 BR.

The Panzerfaust 30 MUST be in the RT. No gimmicks or sillyness

This prototype of the PTR-82 from 1942/43 weighs 22kg and the rocket projectile (RPM-82) weighs 4.5kg.

Its maximum theoretical penetration was up to 140mm but due to it being spin stabilized the efficiency of the HEAT charge was reduced drastically, the average penetration in testing was around 100mm.

Its biggest positive was the muzzle velocity and range which are even higher than the panzerschreck, the projectile had a velocity of 200m/s and a maximum range of 200-300 meters.

For enlisted this would make a good tech tree addition for a domestic AT rocket launcher at either BR 2 or BR 3 depending on the penetration figure the devs choose, it would also be very easy to use at long range due to its high projectile velocity.

BR 2 only. And where is specifications to Panzerfaust 30?

It’s funny. I have suggested many of these AT weapons multiple times and yet people continue to make threads, because we don’t even know if the devs listen at all. Even if they do, it’s at a snail’s pace.

There were 2 versions of Panzerfaust 30

One looks almost identical to current Panzerfaust 60 and has a similar HEAT grenade,

the other is a smaller version with less penetration, also offen called “faustpatrone”, though Sturmpistole was also sometimes called faustpatrone.

“Hey buddy, there’s no way the PTR-82’s performance deserves BR4. It’s worse than BR3 anti-tank weapons.”
