As a new battle pass weapon, the M/26-32 inherits all the strengths of the base M/26. It’s more mobile than most machine guns with low moving-aim penalty; I’m not sure about its aim-down-sight speed. Even with a fire rate of only 500 RPM, it’s fully competent as a BR 3 firearm.
To put it simply: after investing 2 yellow skill points to unlock the 30% reduced moving ADS penalty perk, this gun is viable for shooting while strafing.
By contrast, the 1919A6 and Bren 100 only boast an extra 25 rounds and a 30–50 higher fire rate, yet they’re burdened with all the typical machine gun debuffs. This balance feels unfair. What’s more, even without any soldier skills equipped, the M/26-32 already outperforms the Bren 100 in stability on the shooting range.
