It’s clear that the Ju-188 isn’t competitive with its Soviet and American “counterparts”.
So this bomber will be useful to us.
However, first and foremost, it’s better to at least add something to the Japanese’s arsenal.

on 5 BR Japan, enter “R2Y2 Kai V3”. And the Germans will introduce the Ar-234 c-3 into Enlisted for 5 BR (besides, it has 2 mg-131 course guns)

Why isn’t the ju188a2 competitive? Cuz the pilot doesn’t control any guns??? It’s better than the American bomber and nearly as good as the tu2

Can you break down how it has an inferior flight performance? And it does have forward facing guns just not pilot controlled. You can swap to them.
Ju-188 behaves in the air like a cow on ice 
Whereas the Tu-2 turns well and can be used as a fighter if necessary.

Interesting cuz in war thunder they have turn times both exceeding 30 seconds. Now you wanna put down some actual numbers?
All the numbers are in the datasheets for these planes.
If you’re happy flying this cow, I see no point in trying to change your mind.
Show me the numbers. Cuz the ju188a2 flies quite well in my experience. If the anecdoates contradict each other then numbers need to be brought in. Not to mention the new American bomber is just leagues worse than both.

And ur still not accounting for these 3 facts:
1: the American bomber stats are abysmal
2: Japan doesn’t have a similar bomber yet
3: the ju288 is leagues better than any bomber in the game rn.

But at BR 5, you mostly end up against the top-tier jets. With no forward guns and just those AI gunners for defense, surviving a second bombing pass is pretty much impossible.So yeah, with the Ju 188, you get one chance to drop your bombs, and that’s it.
A US player can bring the XA-38, a P-47D, and two B-25s for a total bomb load over 8,000 lbs. But for Germany? You only have two Ju 188, and one of them is even discontinued.

So ur saying the American bomber is actually fine cuz if the player has legacy squads or event squads they can cycle with some br 3 planes. And what about the people who don’t want to use multiple slots on planes or don’t have legacy squads? Why can’t the same cycles not do the same for Germany?
And the ju188 DOES have guns that can face the front. And doesn’t the jet argument apply to every heavy bomber? What makes Germany the one to get a 6.0 heavy bomber
