Show me the numbers. Cuz the ju188a2 flies quite well in my experience. If the anecdoates contradict each other then numbers need to be brought in. Not to mention the new American bomber is just leagues worse than both.

2: Japan doesn’t have a similar bomber yet
3: the ju288 is leagues better than any bomber in the game rn.

But at BR 5, you mostly end up against the top-tier jets. With no forward guns and just those AI gunners for defense, surviving a second bombing pass is pretty much impossible.So yeah, with the Ju 188, you get one chance to drop your bombs, and that’s it.
A US player can bring the XA-38, a P-47D, and two B-25s for a total bomb load over 8,000 lbs. But for Germany? You only have two Ju 188, and one of them is even discontinued.

So ur saying the American bomber is actually fine cuz if the player has legacy squads or event squads they can cycle with some br 3 planes. And what about the people who don’t want to use multiple slots on planes or don’t have legacy squads? Why can’t the same cycles not do the same for Germany?
And the ju188 DOES have guns that can face the front. And doesn’t the jet argument apply to every heavy bomber? What makes Germany the one to get a 6.0 heavy bomber

This is an Enlisted thread. Discussing WT’s BR system here is pointless. Aren’t I just describing the reality for German BR 5 bombers in Enlisted?

I think it’s fair if other countries also receive similar bombers. Maybe Yer-2 (ACh-30B) (l)?
It is relevant cuz enlisted gets its vehicles and stats from war thunder and a battle rating and war thunder is generally a good indicator of the strength of a vehicle. Especially for planes flying stats and tanks armor and pen values.
This bomber has significantly better stats than the bombers in enlisted rn. So what justifies its existence in enlisted?
The event mission refreshed. Go play a round with your JU 188 at Germany BR 5 and see if you can survive for five minutes.
