no it would not. It would have lackluster damage, struggle to penetrate at least some of the armor at certain angles and when its mobility gets fixed, not really have any advantage in off-road terrain either.

What is flanking germutt?
Flanking doesn’t help you much if the maps are open enough to see enemies coming from far away, like it is in Normandy for most maps. For the ones that are the exception to this rule, they generally are hard to flank on because of limited access routes and many choke points in the city areas, such as narrow roads or bridges.
Guess with this horrible take we should just remove the M4 since it can’t pen the ufp much with the 50mm either. But considering we’re being near hysterical I’m assuming that little fact won’t matter
You can still kill a sherman while flanking you. Shitter the puma can still out reload and outspeed it your just bad at tanking
the M4 we have rn has less mobility, firepower AND armor compared to the 76mm shermans, which had engine upgrades, better suspension, more turret armor and ofc the big gun. Oh and don’t forget the better ground pressure thanks to the wider tracks!

~90-100mm pen, depending on the shell, at point blank.
Pz3 armor, frontally, unangled: 70mm. Angled: 110mm
3N has 20mm extra frontal armor, mind you.
