I unchecked the “any army” option to play specifically as USA and was stuck waiting 5 minutes in queue. I closed the game, reopened it 10 minutes later, and the same thing happened, so I canceled after 2 minutes.
Then I checked the “any army” option again, and the game instantly threw me into the USA army anyway… with this absolute disaster of a team.
People are terrified of entering a point… THEY’RE NOT GOING TO DIE IN REAL LIFE AND THEY’RE GOING TO LOSE ANYWAY, JUST ENTER THE DAMN POINT!
TO TOP IT ALL OFF, THE WHOLE SYSTEM IS A DISASTER, I JUST FINISHED A DAMN GAME AND THIS IS WHAT THE FORUM SHOWS ME ._.
Goty, the best game and company of the century.
If I queue BR2, I will surely face BR3. If I queue BR3 US, I seem to mostly face BR4 GER.
If I queue BR5, much of my team will be using BR3 (and lower gear). I will also get queued onto servers I don’t have selected as options (which are not viable).
I also often get teams that you can tell before the match starts will be totally overrun by the other side.
It’s just busted as hell. Most people solve it by playing in stacks but that just adds another layer of issues. They’ll have to figure it out somehow if they want the game to continue to do anything more than decay.
I think you faced some sort of bug, when you pressed start, but game didn’t count it.
So I highly recommend to do start->stop->start to make sure you are start for real .
I see what you mean about being terrified about entering the objective.
I gotta say, as BR I with bolt-action rifles, I feel like screaming when a single SMG enemy kills one of my squad at a time. You respawn into your next guy, are completely disoriented, and get wasted again.
At low BR, the only chance I seem to have to storm the point is to have a pistol or sword in hand. I was lucky enough to earn 2 free Colt Shwartz full-auto pistols which help a lot, but I only have 2.
For newer players, I could suggest capping a point from the outside. Using the chalk circle then circumscribes the “point”, you can sometimes cap a building from the outside. It’s the best way to make points and level up your squads. I do have a preference for larger or outdoor objectives, like the railroad at Heilojang because I can get a few bolt-action shots off.
I’m trying to figure out how to stop an Obrez (BR II smg) player from wasting my squad and I think I need to start using Bouncing Bettys (AP mines) or putting down some barbed wire.
First, all capture points have obstacles to using cover, the vast majority being buildings.
Second: If you increase the bolt speed in the soldier’s perks you will shoot almost like a semi-automatic, especially with weapons like the Soviet Winchester Br2 or the British Mk2 rifle.
I’m not going to lie, it is an abuse to fight vs with an automatic weapon with a bolt-action weapon even when you have the perks at maximum, even so it doesn’t seem like an excuse to not capture the point, your team will also have people with automatic weapons, you shouldn’t carry the entire weight of the game on yourself. There are between 10 to 15 players per side. That 3 of these must carry the entire game is the game’s fault.
