Lol my example was all about the ability to attack, but you also include armor?
Can u read? Pls point out where I mentioned armor where I said no other nation has a closed turret 75mm with a sub 4 second reload at br 2.
So you use paper or any kind other of stuff to cover the turret instead of armor?
U also arbitrarily defined high pen as being able to pen the strongest part of a pz4h buddy. And you failed to account for rof still
And I wouldn’t even consider the m8 Scott having a turret. The traverse is too slow.
Or how about this: no nation besides Germany has a tank with more than 110mm of pen at br 2.
In warthunder sure. it’s no where near as slow here.
It still doesn’t have enough traverse to rlly qualify itself above a case mate
Penetration doesn’t really matter past a certain threshold when you’re dealing with BR3 Axis tanks, the thickest plate you deal with is a flat 80mm plate.
Arguably the M8 Scott is better for AT considering how easy it is to make follow-up shots if the first shot doesn’t outright kill your target, but the M8 Scott usually does just one shot whatever it faces.
Personally I think the Chaffee should be a TT vehicle, it should get APCBC, the Chi-Nu should be BR2, all German short barreled 75mm armed tanks should have their APCBC replaced, and Russia should get some low tier TDs.
And Germany br 3 should get track armor on pz4h, the hetzer, and pz4/70A. And Japan should be considered for chi to at br 3
Track armor wouldn’t be terrible, Germany should also get the Jagdpanzer IV and Panzer IV/70 (A) for BR3.
Because that is the strongest armor a US br2 tank can meet? For Axis tank the criteria will be different since they meet tanks that have stronger armor.
You are acting like its rof is super bad. The ability to easily cripple enemy tank easily, making it not much of a problem.
Ur acting like the pz4h has zero weak spots and a 80mm thick turret buddy.
And its rof is super bad. Especially for solid shot.
In tank battle one of the most important part is to pen the enemy first. The enemy might already hit you when you try to aim for the turret.
I am talking about the APCBC round not the solid shot.
But its rof should be buff if it keep the solid shot.
Why should I trust what you have to say for tank combat when ur a lvl 10 arcade only .8 kd in wt.
Because we are playing Enlisted not war Thunder. What a genius lol.
M24 Chaffee along with the Alecto are the only two tanks on the game to usually not have advantage after killing the gunner thanks to their low post pen and long reload.
And ur suggesting a rof buff which is WAY more significant of a buff than giving it apcbc. Shows a fundamental lack of understanding how tanks work in this game
War thunder is enlisted but only vehicles versus vehicles. When it comes to fighting vehicles experience in that game is much more valuable than experience in enlisted. Esp due to the average enlisted players skill on vehicles
Post pen damage for low HE filler needs to fixed - giving this tank M61 would only put a bandaid on the issue instead of finally fixing it.
Post pen damage being 90% dependent on explosive filler is unrealistic and bad for gameplay - while very conveniently favouring soviet tanks specifically, because they have the largest amount of TNT equivalent.
You still need to aim for the gunner in the first place? I remember it was quite disadvantageous against panzer 4 when M4a2 still only has the solid shot.
Yeah so the players who never plays wt should never comment about tank in Enlisted lol. Since they have zero lvl and zero battle played in wt.
The fighting range is much shorter in Enlisted, grey zone exist. Flanking is not feasible most of the time. You need to worry about infantry nuking you with explosive pack and at weapon the experience is not the same.
