Still. Reworking a br and all the graphics and customization changes and the squad slot stuff is very nice

And where is the fedorov MG?
It also functions just like a SF rifle with enhanced damage so it also should have its recoil control nerfed or otherwise recieve normal mg damage if it isnt supposed to be an SF rifle aswell…

Are you and the devs planning on removing the bodyarmor damage reduction or making it have a debuff, or making it available to assault engineers. Anything at all?

Finally good news, great.

The preliminary patch notes are not yet complete (hence the “TBA” on them in a few areas) - there will be a lot more added for “Graphics” as well as “Locations and missions” subcategories, plus a number of extra things in other categories!

Some other notes, in case they have been missed:

  • Event slot was changed, both free special slots will work with premium and event squads.
  • Saboteurs are not available on the test server.
  • Daily login changes are missing from the preliminary patch notes at the moment, but they are on the test server.

Arent you exited for even more maps that can have “assault” or “conquest large” when they never were made with those objectives in mind?

Though I will say on the mention of the Type 2a (6.5mm) . Whilst I do appreciate it coming down to BR4 I really do wish it was instead just given the 30 round mag instead. Especially so considering it’s one of the few firmly documented things we have about the firearm.

Lets test the new feature on the live server and not on the test server. What could possibly go wrong…

Like what is the point of a test server when only half of the stuff actually gets tested?

Not a whole new map - we would have covered this in a dedicated dev blog.

However, there are (these all will be in the patchnotes shortly) a hell of a lot of improvements to various missions all over the place, including lots of infantry and vehicle spawn improvements and fixes, as well as objective/capture point area changes and fixes and playable area fixes.

Also a number of AI navigation improvements, some map features/assets/terrain adjustments and fixes, destructability of certain things added, and lots more.

There’s even a new cherry blossom petal falling effect added to maps that have these trees - so a massive number of improvements, both to big parts of the game and smaller, focused changes. :slight_smile:

A great many of these were taken straight from feedback and bug reports, so it’s great to see!
