Taiyuan Arsenal Thompson as Japanese BR3 weapons

I just found a picture of a Japanese captured Thompson, it looks like a M1921 with 30 round box magazine, however, the originally M1921 only has 20,50 and 100 round magazine, the 30 round magazine was from a Chinese copy of the M1921(Taiyuan Arsenal Thompson), which still chambered the original 45ACP.

Even though Japan already has many BR3 submachine guns, due to it’s rate of fire and damage, this gun would be the only one that could against the PPSH41(box).

I prefer to give this gun as Japanese event or premium squad weapons, so we will have three factions that use the Chinese Thompson.

30 rounders for Thommies begun mass-production around battle of Pearl-Harbour times, in 1941.
Last chinese thompsons were made in early nineteen thirties, before japan captured those factories.

Maybe we should search for chinese timetravelling appartus instead?

This is likely a later lendlease M1928A model, some were still made with forward vertical grips.

At first I thought it’s a 1928, but it doesn’t have the muzzle break.

No, because germany can’t have the same treatment, type 100 late* and sig 1920 is satisfactory and they already have 20 rd thompson

I don’t understand why everyone focuses so much on the Thompson when the they used to write the same thing about the PPSh-41.
The Imperial Japanese Army was extremely meticulous regarding captured weaponry. Any arms seized in China or from the Allies—such as Mauser rifles or Thompson submachine guns—were immediately cataloged, assigned Japanese designations, and issued with printed operating manuals.

Sounds like another faction I know that isn’t allowed captured weaponry… I wonder what that one is.

Because 50/50 for one faction is so much better than 50/50 for another.

I second this, not to mention, the type 100 late should get its 7.2 damage back as well

If they add it as an event squad, I honestly don’t care—though I’d personally like to see a French squad with a captured MG-42. Some people probably wouldn’t like it, but there are plenty of weapons like that out there—still, I wonder who wouldn’t like it.
