The T3E2 Semi-Automatic Rifle was an early experimental prototype developed at Springfield Armory before the World War II.
It is the predecessor of the M1 Garand, it used 10 rounds .276 Pedersen en-block clip, .276 ammo make T3E2 have lower recoil and greater stability in continuous fire.

For test performance, .30-06 ammo(classic for m1 garand) have 3800 Joule muzzle energy when fire, have 1200 Yard effective range.
And the .276 Pedersen ammo only 2400~2600 Joule muzzle energy, this reduce its effective range by 400 Yard.
However, according to military measurements, the 400-yard reduction in range does not significantly impact a soldier’s primary combat effectiveness, but the difference between 10 and 8 rounds can determine a squad’s firepower.
Nevertheless, due to issues with .276 Pedersen ammunition (Problems brought about by the new production line), the military opted for the M1 Garand instead of the T3E2.
Given the precedent of the T20, I believe it is entirely reasonable to add this gun as a Tier 4 weapon to the research tree, because the lower muzzle impulse of the .276 round translates to significantly lower recoil, drastically faster reticle reset, and high-precision rapid fire.

Yes, I agree that the US tech trees currently lack a BR4 rifle, so adding this gun is a reasonable proposal.Given its low muzzle energy, its recoil could also be lower than the Johnson rifle and the m1 Garand, with less dispersion and better handling — though its damage and muzzle velocity would naturally be lower as well.
