T-44-100 mod. 1945 with D-10T gun

Nah, nothing much. Just had some Chinese guy ranting nonsense under an equipment discussion thread.

This user is basically my long‑time adversary.
Last time we clashed, we both broke forum rules and got three‑day bans. I reined in my behaviour afterwards, yet he clearly did not.

Right now, my ordinary counter‑arguments triggered a full‑scale retaliation from him. You can trace the cause further up the thread. He claimed the T‑44‑100 is a Cold‑War vehicle and should not be included in a WWII‑themed game.

I calmly countered and explained historical facts, but he refused to listen at all. I had no choice but to present tank‑related source material, pointing out that the T‑54 prototype was also produced during WWII, urging him to treat the discussion seriously.

Still he ignored the sources and kept arguing stubbornly. I criticised him for being careless and undisciplined with facts.
Now he is clearly getting worked up, posting a string of highly inappropriate remarks for an open forum.

To be frank, the exchange here is relatively mild. Within domestic online circles, his viewpoints lean toward chauvinistic extremist stances. He constantly wishes for foreign powers to overpower his own country.

On top of that, he comes from a former privileged‑class background. Even though he keeps voicing opinions that would be equivalent to pro‑Nazi speech if said in Germany, he still holds a secure permanent job.
Take a good look at his earlier posts before the moderators remove them.

All for a tank that’s never been in WW2 and it’s in the game files for enlisted…

Son…

Ohhh I saw it’s funny.

Then how about you, Mr. Has-a-Job, go ahead and buy a few extra slots in Enlisted before you love to lecture others, huh?

You have to understand, Chinese minors tend to be very competitive. They impose their views on others, and if others don’t agree, they start throwing tantrums and acting spoiled. That’s why I dislike them.

Oh, nice. This Wikipedia source you provided proves that the T‑44 did see combat, fighting in the Far‑East operations during the final days of the war. Besides, isn’t the T‑44‑A basically the T‑44‑85? Though the text does not mention the T‑44‑100 at all.

Oh yea ive seen so many chinese like that my expectations are really really really low im surprised when i find a chinese not crashing out over literally anything.

I would say…the T-44 has been in the files for AHWILE and in my predicts…it’s either they will release it as a event OR when BR VI gets shown to light.

The T-44/85 is acceptable, but the T-44/100 is not. The former was an experimental tank from the late stages of World War II, while the latter was a Cold War-era modified tank; they are different.

I won’t fly into a rage. But if someone maliciously provokes you, I’ll take direct action, not just talk the talk, because the right way to deal with trash is to throw it in the bin, not to let it linger and make you sick. Besides, respect is mutual. If someone is rude to you, I won’t be polite to the person who offended me; on the contrary, retaliation is the norm.

That situation is pretty bad.
The T‑44‑85 would fit perfectly at BR4, at minimum as an event‑only vehicle comparable to the M26A1E1.
It could work similarly to the Panther: each side can only penetrate the opponent’s turret, while hull fronts remain largely immune.
Putting it at BR5 would be absolutely ridiculous. It also raises questions about possible bias towards Germany. Why push a tank whose 85 mm gun cannot penetrate the front of Ferdinand or King Tiger all the way to BR5?

Honestly, Soviet‑aligned players have spent ages debating these points on the forum. It reminds me of the earlier conflict over the suppressed PPSh, which sparked discussions around the AVS‑20 and AVT‑20.
Virtually every time a capable Soviet vehicle is about to be added, massive controversy erupts, as if some people feel threatened.
Nearly every decent Soviet addition ends up triggering heated arguments.

To draw an analogy: it resembles withheld wages forcing workers to protest. Even if the issue gets addressed indirectly alongside other unrelated complaints, it is still a rather sad state of affairs.

Soviet players cannot count on getting good tanks through standard means, nor can we expect DF to generously hand out strong Soviet vehicles voluntarily.
Ferdinand was the last major high‑quality vehicle given to a faction without pushback, and that was for Germany. Other nations get solid gear, while the Soviet side got nothing more than a BR1 bolt‑action rifle.
It feels as if Soviets are not supposed to receive competitive equipment.

Germany also struggles for good vehicles at BR3; the Nashorn still has not been moved down to BR3 to this day.

To sum up: Axis factions suffer below BR3, and Allied factions suffer above BR3

Tanks that participated in the Far East campaigns at the end of World War II included the SU-76 self-propelled gun, T-34/76 tanks, Soviet Sherman tanks (supplied by the United States), ISU-152 self-propelled guns, and T-34/85 tanks. However, the IS-2 and T-44A tanks were not included because they were too cumbersome to traverse woodland or river areas. So please stop making things up. I hate people who spread rumors; you guys are really annoying.

Just look at the recent events and you’ll see who has the upper hand: the Soviet faction’s squads keep getting buffed, and the US faction isn’t lagging behind either—yet Germany doesn’t get a single squad. What do you think I’m complaining about? Is it fair if you get a few weapons and vehicles while the other side gets squads and buffs?

I think this is a major issue.
Wow, you have calmed down now?

Balance ultimately lies entirely in DF’s hands.
Much like War Thunder, where Germany is overpowered at 5.7‑6.0. That bracket feels tailor‑made for players who enjoy German WWII tanks, forcing Soviet and US players to rely on hit‑and‑run tactics.

Things work differently in this title. Japanese vehicles are nothing special at WT’s 6.7, yet they are absurdly strong here. This shows that DF creates hidden power gaps between factions. Still, publicly they try to keep factions such as Japan viable even at BR5. Everything comes down to DF’s decisions.

I have made multiple polls to buff German BR‑3 vehicles. Can you point to any that got accepted?
Buff decisions rest solely with DF. We players can only offer suggestions.

As for the IS‑2, anyone who has used it knows its current state. It would fit perfectly at BR4. BR5 deserves a genuinely powerful tank.

The T‑44 only has 120 mm frontal armour. It could go head‑to‑head against the King Tiger in close‑range duels; whoever lands a frontal penetrating shot gets the kill. That sounds pretty fair to me.

LMFAO WHAT:sob::sob::sob:

Oh come on, it was only a metaphor. Take it easy. At least certain viewpoints are semi‑openly discussed within Germany these days.

Ironically, actual NXXXX would at least be constrained by international public opinion back then.
What you are posting here is not all that different from inflammatory rhetoric.
You have quite a delayed reaction, only noticing this just now?

Don’t bother watching; lectures from Chinese adults to minors are rarely friendly, because there is an old Chinese saying: “Go three days without a beating, and you’ll be climbing onto the roof to tear off the tiles.”

The F-80 and the SU-9 is early cold war jets…just a reminder.

So at that POINT they broke their promise like always…

It’s fine to include experimental weapons from the end of World War II for the sake of game balance, but dragging in weapons from after 1947 is truly unnecessary.
