SVT40 and G43 have NO obvious improvements compared to SVT38 and G41,which are BR3 now.At the same time, ZH29, SVT40 (15), AKT40 and other weapons in BR4 are obviously much better than SVT40 and G43.
So, I suggest that SVT40 and G43 should go to BR3, and for balance if possible , enhance Johnson and Type 4 too.
G41 has clip magazine, which is a major downgrade regarding G43.
SVT38 should be clip-fed but Soviet bias is not real and MP40 deals 0.1 more dmg or something like that.
What actually needs to happen is the SVT38 be changed to a stripper clip so it is not a BR4 semi auto in BR3.

I mean, sure, it’s nice getting confirmation that the SVT-38 really is a BR IV rifle masquerading as a BR III rifle - but the G41/43 comparison…? ‘NO obvious improvements’…? Come on, really…? That’s an argument made from ignorance, and it couldn’t be further from the truth.
Nerf SVT-38 by making it reload through clips (but give it standard damage for its BR) and reduce the reload on the G41, only change that should be considered.
Compared to higher damage, 20 rounds magazine or fully automatic function, the difference between magazine reloading and clip reloading is almost “non-existent”. Let BR3 further popularize magazine reloading instead of weakening SVT38------each faction’s BR3 should have its own magazine reloading.
Then you would have to move the garand to br2 as it is much weaker then the g43
It would not be fair on the current BR III rifles in game, who are objectively inferior to their BR IV counterparts. Congratulations, the US will now suffer because their Garands and Johnsons are not on the same level as the G43 - and the Japanese Type 4 will suffer from facing the dominatingly better SVT-40.
It would be even more unfair against BR II who have to put up with a a suddenly and massively strengthened BR III. Do we now start downtiering current BR III rifles to BR II…? Shit rolls downhill, lets not forget…
I also surely don’t have to explain the folly of arguing for Tech Tree weapons to be downtiered, because of much rarer Event/BP/Premium items…?

Personally, I’m absolutely not a fan of rifles that require loading via two stripper clips, and I believe every faction should have access to rifles like the M1 Garand and the SVT-38. Japan could be given a different variant of the Type Hei/10 rifle, while Germany could receive the ZH-29, with its damage reduced to match the SVT-38—or perhaps another rifle from the ZH series.
10 rounds semi-auto rifle doesnt fit in BR4, it fit in BR 3. BR4 semi-auto needs to be with 15-20+ mag size.
this is why finding a BR4 match is the very low forcing u to match up to mostly against BR5.
BR1 BA, BR2 SA 5+ Rounds, BR3 SA -10+ Rounds, BR4 SA 15-20+ Rounds, BR5 SA/AR. all of these rifles has a 1 shot potential.
