Well, I suppose anyone will agree - new premium soviet squad with SVT-40 - is a boring stuff. Even me sovetboo aint take it.
But I have an idea.
Translate:Our magazine has repeatedly published materials on the history of the development and production of domestic devices for silent and flame-free firing (SBS). In continuation of this topic, we publish material on the tests of the PBS for the 7.62mm Tokarev self-loading rifle model 1940 (SVT-40).
The first mention of the existence of a PBS for the SVT-40 was discovered by me in the plan of experimental work for 1941, where it was envisaged that it would be tested in the second quarter of this year. Thus, it was reliably established that the PBS was being developed for this rifle. However, the plan did not contain information about the results of the work, so it was still impossible to find out whether it was possible to create a workable SBS for the SVT-40 and test it, For a long time I did not come across any materials clarifying the further fate of the development, Only much later I managed to find documents indicating that that the PBS for the SVT-40 was nevertheless manufactured, tested at the test site
and… rejected. However, first things first.
Presented for field testing in April 1941, the “K SVT-40 shot sound suppressor” (as this type of PBS was officially called for the Tokarev rifle) was designed to perform the same tasks as the well-known Bramit device, but it was fundamentally different in design and principle of operation. First of all, the silencer for the SVT-40 was designed to fire conventional screw cartridges with an ultra-fast bullet velocity, rather than special cartridges with a reduced bullet velocity, like the Bramit rifle. There were no rubber obturators in the design of this muffler, which prevented

Here, in this doc - written about another silencer for SVT-40 - a BRAMIT. It was produced - 20 pieces and tested.
Can we add SVT with BRAMID silencer?
Also some documents
Translate: Based on the order of the Main Artillery Directorate of the Red Army No. 688506ss dated December 20, 1940, at the Scientific Testing Range of Small Arms of the Red Army, the BRAMIT -2 system device presented by the OTB of the NKVD of the USSR for 7.62mm rifles of the 1938 model [SVT] was tested.

BR: 4
The suppressed version of the SVT-40 retains the overall performance of the standard rifle but has a slightly lower muzzle velocity (by around 10–15%) due to the suppressor, which also limits its effective range. It remains a semi-automatic rifle of medium tier, balanced by its stealth advantages.
Type: Event / Premium weapon
Availability (Why it should be this type)
The SVT-40 fitted with the BRAMIT suppressor is a historically documented but experimental configuration, tested by the Red Army in 1941 at the NIPSVО proving grounds. It was never mass-issued and saw only limited field use by reconnaissance and sabotage units.
Because of its rarity and prototype status, it fits best as an Event reward or Premium weapon, rather than a standard tech-tree item. This preserves historical accuracy while keeping gameplay balance. Also its been found in German tutorial. There were trophy weapons, which was in use by axis. Some svt suppressor somehow come to a German hands, highly likely from partisan troops
Gameplay Purpose & Role (What gap does it fill? How does it enhance gameplay, balance, or historical representation?)
- Gameplay role:
A stealth-oriented semi-automatic rifle ideal for reconnaissance and infiltration roles - so it can be owned by guerilla squad - Gap it fills:
The USSR currently lacks a prem squad at br 4-5 with authentic suppressor — unlike other nations. The SVT-40 (BRAMIT) would fill this gap naturally and fairly. - Gameplay enhancement:
• Adds tactical diversity by introducing suppressed, accurate, semi-auto fire.
• Enables silent elimination of targets and stealth operations without alerting nearby bots.
• Strengthens historical immersion, representing real Soviet experimentation with suppressed small arms during the war. - Balance considerations:
• Reduced bullet speed and damage falloff over distance prevent it from being overpowered.
• Maintains the authentic handling and recoil of the base SVT-40, emphasizing skillful use rather than raw power.
