The suomi was very versatile of a gun, can be a makeshift lmg and a menace in CQC fighting, but apart no one talks about is its magazines.
Suomi KP/31 (40)
It would be a Suomi variant with a 40 round magazine, the magazine looks Identical to the 71 round magazine but couldn’t hold more than 40.
Author note: this gun is a event gun so all the I show are at its upgraded stats
Br3
Dmg: 6.7-6.6
Rpm: 990
Cap: 40
Feed: detachable mag
Reload: 2.5s (empty)
Velocity: 400
Recoil: vert 12 horz 6
Weight: 5.0
Note: due to it being lighter it would have a quicker ADS time and easier hipfire
-Reasoning for the stats: I want a BR3 Suomi smg for Germany, but it had to have some nerfs to it so it can be in br3 otherwise it be a Br4 smg that no one would use, further more it’s a Iconic gun that is more likely to be used by players and have further player retention to buy the premium Suomis.
The squad: it would be a assaulter squad with assaulter 2 stats redistributed it would compose of 4 assaulters and one engineer, and a free slot for a AT gunner that can be switched out for a Engineer too like other squads.
If the game developers add the Suomi submachine gun with a high-capacity drum magazine to premium paid squads, then they should also add the magazine-fed version of the Suomi submachine gun to limited-time events so that all players can obtain it for free.
First of all, I don’t agree with the proposed stats.
Its a 9mm gun, the standard damage is 6.8 not to mention that the other Soumi kp/31 with 71 round drum mag also has 6.8 damage.
Secondly, there are so many Soumi variants, Danish made M1941 Soumi, Swiss Hispano-Suiza as MP 43/44, commercial Finnish Soumis that would make much better event rewards than the common soumis that should be saved for Finnish squads.
Yeah and its really cool, I only did not mention it because it’s really unlikely that any side used it in the war, though I guess it could still be added as a limited thing like event or premium.
No one in the war used it, the 39 model is identical to the Finnish one so there’s no point, the 37 model used a obscure pistol cartridge that no one was using either.
Who’d get it, anyway…? No one had it, so there’s an equal claim for everyone.
