VG 1-5 for Assult Squad?

For assulters, Russian takes PPD 40 with 71 round Drum mag, but German takes a 30 round semi-auto rifle?

VG 1-5 shouldn’t be a assult class weapon, It must be considered as a rifle, Like G43 and Kar98K.
Just like Berlin Alpha test, Which was held a year ago.

It’s still before the update, so Devs still can change it.

Even at Devblog VG 1-5 was mentioned as a “Rifle”.

VG 1-5 needs to be considered as a rifle,

And even it could may replace FG 42.

Is VG 1-5 a Laser gun?

It was before, but we dont know now.

Berlin Alpha was before the new Recoil mechanism.
Before the New recoil, G41 and G43s were also a Lasergun, had almost no recoil, But not now.

Now we havent seen VG 1-5 after a New recoil mechanism, we dont know how would it be.

Will VG 1-5 performs similar to FG 42?

It would not.

VG 1-5 uses 7.92 33 Kruz round, which is smaller and weaker.

But FG 42 Uses 7.92 57 Mauser, which deals much more damage to be compared with Kruz round.

Each soldier has HP of 10. Well even in close range despite FG and Gewehr 43 could kill enemies at once, VG 1-5 won’t.

and Russian armour, at berlin, Reduces 9%-10% of the damage.

And those will make VG 1-5 to use more rounds than FG or Gewehr to kill them.

I can tell you that this thing was fucking nuts in the Berlin Open Alpha tests. It does NOT need to be handed out like candy. It is perfectly fine as an assaulter only rifle.

The VG 1-5 was extremely fun and nutty. From what I remember it was a fucking laser pointer

About the same as a Gewehr 41 right now, two shot kill. Could rapidly kill multiple squads with the large magazine and semiauto.

No full auto, but pretty much.

since the VG 1-5 uses the same cartridge as the Stg-44 then we can expect the Stg-44 would be 2 hit kill but restricted to assaulter class?

Lol what? I’ve killed these armoured dudes with pistols to the chest quicker than they have killed me with rifles. These are so few and far between that they’re not worth worrying about.

The VG1-5 is going to be decent, but not too strong or weak.

Completely agree. Why something like M1/M2 carbine should be given to assulters? Let alone all semi-auto only has a firerate of 380-420 maximal. Nobody would use that trash. I prefer Mp40.
If it’s not gonna happen, they should replace PPD40 with SKS1944. Another solution.

MP43 was tested in Normandie once. There are many things that you OBT players don’t know.

The armor only works versus pistol caliber weapons, but not against the MP35/l because that fires 9x25.
