Did someone actually test if it does anything?

Devs said it works like helmet but i dont remember/noticed any cases where enemy have survived headshot

Thanks for the info, I heard about mp43 on CBT, but I had no idea about its damage.

Devs didnt explicitly said it only works against Pistols, it also said “Also”. it definitely does reduce damage but its fine

Devs already added counters for Armors. MG42, FG42 will shred it hard, same with the Assault Rifle

I’ve tried myself and enemies tend to survive/get downed on headshots from pistol caliber weapons

It doesn’t, and shouldnt work against rifle caliber weapons.
Riflecaliber weapons aren’t low-velocity roundnosed as with 9x19, they’re high-velocity tipped rounds that don’t give a fuck about a 3mm steel plate.

I agree is shouldn’t be an assaulter weapon, simply because it isn’t an automatic. For the rest… 🤷
