Suggestion to help those who don't like artillery and bombers

I’m totally against nerfs, and I enjoy the game as it is. But I see some people is having problems with artillery and bombers, so I was thinking, and instead more Nerfs, I suggest artillery and bombers don’t do damage (or almost no damage) if you are in trenches or inside buildings and bunkers? and radio operators need to select the zone with smoke or binoculars so they must expose to call artillery

and to help people can hide when a plane is comming, change the sound so you can listen a plane when is approaching and players have a few seconds to jump on a trench or hide in a bunker, and give fighter pilots more points for down a plane.
Fighter are since low level, so everyone can kill other planes.

This way, we will have lethal artilery and bombing but people will have an oportunity to hide

Actually one of your squadmates could shout “plane” or something like that.
Another thing that would make the game more cinematic.

Yes.

Also nerfs are not bad when those are needed. Ofcourse devs could give m1 garand 12 clips and keep german semis at 30rounds/2 magazines. But thats not how balance works

suggest nerfing everything I don’t like “because it kill me”. how novel :wink:

The requirement to have art and mortars actually spot where their rounds are landing is something I’ve advocated for some time. If you search you can probably find the threads …

So yes no more quick and easy nerfs … I want smart solutions to these problems. Nerfs are not smart they are lazy …

There is no need to Nerf anything.
There are a lot of things devs can do, and make people hide in trenches or bunkers if there is artillery or a plane incomming is a good solution.

Meanwhile even the Devs know that bombers are OP and they removed bombers kills for streamers challenges but hey “YoU wAnT tO nErF tHeM cAuSe ThEy KiLl YoU” :joy:

Also in case of arty and bombers it is called balancing. Weird i know :smirk:

We already have a soldier perk to increase the speed of changing positions. Why not take advantage of this perk … When indirect fire or bombs are landing falling prone should give you more protection …

As OP is saying lots of smart things can be done to address these issues without nerfing a class to death …

Artillery must be deadly and bombers too. Maybe devs think bombers and arty are op because the ammount of players shouting “NERF THIS” “NERF THAT” while players who really like how it is don’t make posts and devs only receive your feedback.

And this is why more people like me and others will start doing posts NOT ASKING FOR NERFS and saying when WE LIKE SOMETHING and if there is a problem, trying to give solutions instead asking for more nerfs

You realize they see the statistics of every game played over months right?

One player in the server doing 90% of the killing and the least amount of dying is not fun nor is it balanced.

People are asking for balanced mechanics. I understand people enjoying brainless gameplay with which you press click once and get 30 kills with zero risk but it isnt balanced and it wouldnt be in any game. And i am playing CAS btw and it is OP even though i am using it for easy exp and first places. Simple as

this could be a good solution.

And another thing devs could do is less “shake” (don’t remember the name) when there is an arty or bombing run. so players can move and aim better when there is an attack

Not saying there is no problem … just the way the dev’s go about solving the problem is lazy …
