Pershings will be added one day, but we don’t need a direct 1 to 1 counter for every single thing. Again that’s the whole point of a sandbox where everything has pros, cons, weaknesses, strategies, etc.

If we look at Normandy right now Shermans and planes would still be able to pound it. Does that mean we’re going to be one shotting King Tigers left and right, no. But like I said above

to be fair adding the pershing wont add much to balance, as adding the kind tiger would not make germany op as most people would think,
its a fucking massive tank on tiny ass maps
its gun is not much anythink more then what the rest the the german tank tree is like
american has some really good AT options(that most people dont use or care about cuz they brain dead as fuck)
what they need to do to bring blance is rework the fucking maps as they are more beneficently to camp in the back and you cant flank robbing the US tanks of their best feature “speed” and “maneuverability”

I think AT weapons should be picked up after killing an enemy, but on a separate note Anti Material Rifles can still be used in “late game” battles because they can disable tracks as well as for shooting at HMGs, AA guns, and even light vehicles when we eventually get half tracks and such.

Since they’re a niche weapon, that means players who do choose to use them will use them to the best of their ability

The USSR does not have a normal machine gun, the USA does not have a normal “late” attack of the attack aircraft class. If you really think that df are outclassed, then check the truth - the Germans have the best tanks, the best weapons and machine guns, excellent aircraft with 250 bombs, the best “premium squads”. Do you still think that the USSR is unreasonably perfect?

They will make you a “premium squad” with 250 mg of rounds. A strange complaint about the number of rounds, because only American machine guns are comparable to German machine guns, Soviet machine guns are rubbish, like RD 44.

You have and will have fg 42 2, which is better than any weapon in the game, and in Moscow there is kiraly 39. Again the axis suffers.

Maybe then you would have noticed that the Germans have better aircraft than the USSR simply because of the bias of the developer, who does not give 250 bombs per aircraft, unlike the axis.

In order to kill a bunch of people, you need the lack of recoil that American and German machine guns have, as well as the DPS that German machine guns have better. 100 rounds is just a number, you can easily kill everyone with patrontrommel or mg 45.
The axis is suffering, it lacks ammo to kill the Soviets with very weak machine guns

In the early game? In the near future there will be a major update, where Axis players are not deprived at all. And yes, in what place, except for Tunisia (terrible Italian progression), do the Germans break their legs? Combining Campaigns

On the topic - content is currently needed exclusively by all allies and the Japanese, the Germans have a huge amount of content due to 5 campaigns. The Japanese need a tank with a long-barreled gun, the USSR needs paratroops and planes, the USA needs something that will withstand FG 42 2 and STG 44, as well as a strong tank, because after updating the shells, the jumbo will become garbage if it meets with panthers.

I attempted to address some of these issues here but it seems that players are only WW2 experts as long as they explain to someone why he can’t get his toy he wants.

i dont have problem with them post merge, but pre merge most of the tanks will destroy balance in some campaigns, or make it worse.

if you put KT in normandy without pershing i expect that you will have situation form last year where loads of axis players pummel allies. and if you put pershing you will completely destroy any semblance of history that game remotely had. it doesnt even matter what tanks you put ingame at that point. you could put any cold war tank at that point cause it would have same amount of HA as pershing in normandy.

and if you put tiger in tunisia/stalingrad, what should f2p players counter it with if they dont have end game content and are driving tanks?

you are basically introducing toys for veterans to seal club newbies at that point…

Entire squads running around with M2 carbines, a weapon that only seen combat in 1945 after Germany’s surrender already destroyed it for me.
Same goes to every German squad sporting Fg42 and AVT40. Japan is full of experimental guns and USSR has failure rifles as its best gear.

Though I do understand that it is tanks where you draw the line.
I just hoped that by giving Pershing pre-merge would help balance since many Germany mains already have the KönigTiger.

Or KP31 since ppl seems to be bit butthurt with captured / modified enemy weapons.

I love the idea, but since its premium in Stalingrad, I doubt the devs would add to progression for free.

i have problem with m2 as well with jumbo and other stuff. i would rather they didnt introduce historical OP stuff that they need to balance with time traveling equipment if we are in campaign setting.

  1. it makes campaigns unbalanced from start to end
  2. it makes campaign unhistorical, making them pointless as campaigns

i couldnt affect their decision to introduce m2 or jumbo cause they just put the update with those stuff in without consulting anyone, but i can at least give my dissatisfaction with similar practice in bad suggestions thread.
