Suggestion: Add a Regiment System (Clan system) to strenghten the community

One of the biggest things that keeps multiplayer games alive for years is a strong player community. A regiment system could significantly improve long-term engagement and teamwork in the game.

Concept

Players could create or join regiments (military-themed clans) where they fight together, recruit members, and compete against other Regiments.

Possible Features

  • Regiment creation and customizable emblem/insignia
  • Officer ranks (Commander, Officer, Soldier)
  • Regiment chat and roster
  • Ability to invite and recruit players
  • Shared statistics and progression

Regiment battles (clan wars)

Regiments could participate in scheduled battles or tournaments where units fight for points, rankings and seasonal rewards

Examples:

  • Regiment vs regiment battles
  • Leaderboards
  • Seasonal campaings
  • Exclusive cosmetics or banners

Why this would help the game:

A structured group system would:

  • Encourage teamwork
  • Increase player retention
  • Create competetive events
  • Strangthen the community

Many succesful multiplayer games stay active for years because of organized player groups. A regiment system could bring that same long-term engagement here.

EDIT: welcome to our community. even though this message may not be that welcoming. i may apologies in advance.

doesn’t quite work like that when most of the players are solo.
Let alone most are casuals, and are not really looking for competitive game in a game filled with bots in each battle.

and truth be told, sounds all rather an ego-chase for trinkets.

what really this game needs for longevity and long term engagement, would be improved custom games with more features as well as improve the mods editor and the ability to upload custom content.

So that, it can appease to the ww2 historical accurate enjoyers, Lone wolf folks, modern battles and many more communities as well and included clans. Beyond what the game can currently offer.

Cause “wasting” resourches for clans that are a 10% at best of the playerblase, doesn’t really benefit the majority but the ones who are already in clans.

to be fair though,

on the other " coin " of the medal, the CM ( Community manager ) is in big favor of clans.

and the road map did stated they were considering clans ( at the bottom ):

so there is that.

with that being said though, i can’t see how working on said clans is a benefit when working on custom games reaches way far more people.

but… yes. i am a bit biased as i am a modder my self.
though, also part of few clans too.

also, you’re new in here.
but, no shame in that.

just a friendly warning though, when making suggestions, and clicking others and then the " Mods " tag,

mods tag are for game modifications.
aka, custom games and missiosn made in the editor or generally custom game mods.

the one inside " custom game tabs ".

and as the forum demands, you’ll have to include a poll in your suggestions :+1:

else, they will close your thread as " non valid " suggestion.

that’s all.

Most of the players are solo, because there is no system in the game to bring them together.

I have been playing the game lonely since i discovered it, but i would love to be part of a little community, like a clan. I used to play a game for quite a few years, (called Warface) where the only thing kept me playing, was the clan system. Core memories were made in the games with my mates there.

This would be a brand new competetive ecosysteam, which is a reason for players to return regularly, if it’s done well.
Something new, that keeps old and new players in the game.

considering we do have a social system ( granted, very basic at that ) and even an official discord.

is mostly empty. because it does appear that the playerbase is mostly made out of solo players.

thing is, nothin is preventing you, ( or me ) or your clan to play community made missions and gather your clan or an opposing clan and fight there.

my main “argument”, is that, most of the clan features can be handed outside.
if one wants to reach out, they have the various social media to do so. included discord, the forum, reddit and more.

which it’s why, i personally thing, alongside some others, that investing into clans is not that beneficial as it does not bring that many people.

most people play enlisted casually because it’s not that demanding.

and fun fact, this game used to have dedicated competitive events.
where players had to fight each other fur a period of time, but were then ditched to being mostly empty.
and sure, it may have been earlier, the interest wasn’t all there. and to a point, still isn’t.

but, the same goes above and beyond with mods.

because allows all type of players regardless if they are in a clan or alone to actually benefit and keep coming back for new or slightly altered experiences to pick up and down anytime one wants.

which mods do bring alot of more people on board than just " competitive clans ".

the scale and target involve is a fraction of what mods would and could bring.
is my point.

but, we’ll have to agree to disagree i suppose.

Hello your post is under Suggestions , which means you would need a poll, based on this new policy

Please add a poll, else this topic will be closed in 3 days

Happy Posting

Unfortunately enlisted is very much a casual game. The most casual fps I’ve seen. So not sure if a clan system would even be good for it
