Your argument reminds me of those underage Chinese students who love playing War Thunder. They argue endlessly and make baseless accusations whenever their views contradict the facts. I suggest you check out Wikipedia; it has detailed information about the Pacific War and China’s history during World War II. No one will agree with you because the historical context is different. If China were an industrialized nation, it wouldn’t have needed to buy weapons from abroad and could have independently resisted the Axis powers’ aggression. The Allies (Britain, the US, and the Soviet Union) wouldn’t have needed to provide weapons and personnel assistance.
Finally, I would like to advise you students studying in Chinese schools not to come to Enlisted forums to discuss Chinese party politics or to incite historically controversial debates. This is not China, so please be polite and respectful to everyone.
I’m Chinese myself but I don’t think WW2 China has enough content to become their own faction ![]()
If anything Italy and Brits needed separate faction first, and I’d love to see that happen. China is probably only becoming a separate faction if we have cold war contents and beyond (Which isn’t coming unfortunately)
Stop bringing up the Cold War; that’s a topic for War Thunder players. Enlisted discussions only cover World War I and World War II history.

China has very few weapons of its own, and the most advanced weapons that they developed before the end of World War II are already in the game. These include the Sichuan-type SMG, General Liu’s rifle, copies of tampons, and the Sichuan Thompson. The only unique weapons that China still has are the Japanese Type 2 SMG clone and the Type 3 Rifle.
making a Chinese branch out of foreign weapons is a terrible idea, as it won’t provide a unique gaming experience. Even if the Chinese faction is given unique weapons, there won’t be any difference whether they are used by the Chinese faction or another faction, as the weapons will belong to the allied countries.
I’ve only mentioned small arms, but when it comes to vehicles, all I know are two outdated models from the aircraft’s development: the Fu-hsing and the X-PO.
in short, it would be a disgrace both for the perception of China’s role in World War II and for developers if we saw the Chinese faction with their real weapons (and no need to remember China’s role in the war against Japan, we have a game here that plays like a museum of firearms and add a faction that does not have enough unique samples of this it makes no sense since it will not fulfill its main role in the game) (it makes more sense to add Italy as a separate faction, they have enough prototypes to dilute the branch with their weapons, flesh to the 5th br, although they cannot cope without gifts from Germany either)
As I Chinese Canadian, I say no. I don’t want to see anymore ridiculous a-hystorical scenarios being set up, and especially not with my own ethnicity. This game absolutely does not have a complete respect for history. I don’t downplay the role of the Chinese in WW2, but they fought in their own theatre. If Italy does not get their own faction, then certainly not the Chinese.
This game is not worthy of having the Chinese faction added.
Now go ask your grandpa if he wants Chinese faction added to this game. If he says yes, then sure.
We need the big factions missing, Italy and UK as standalone.
Chinese is not a major faction
In fact it was 2 factions, Communists vs Nationalists AND a bunch of Warlords, all their tech Tree would be copy pasted weapons in a horrible mix, and they only fought in their own theatre in China… they do not have a place in ENlisted, atleast for now…
The problem is they are trying (very poorly) to refrain from adding copy paste in other factions. They denied the captured ppsh41 to axis and the tommy for Soviets even though they used to be available.
…
Granted devs suck at this resolution having given the ofenrohr to almost everyone, the panzerfausts to Soviets, multiple lend lease…
[…]
Another problem would be that adding a 5th faction would dilute players even more in matches.
[…]
Another one is that factions such as Commonwealth and Italy should definitely be factions themselves first, as they are already very present but are now just subfaction.
In light of this, china could probably be seen as a subfaction of Soviets at best, with a few squads here and there…
Well, when I think of the Chinese theatre, the Flying Tigers are the first thing that comes to my mind rather then any Chinese historical battles
. If Italy isn’t added as a separate faction I can’t see China.
I think before adding a new faction to this game, we need to first see if the production team is interested in this content, and then consider whether it can generate profits. However, judging from the current efforts of the production team, being able to introduce a new faction technology line all the way up to BR 3 would be enough to make them happy for the entire year.
Well you can support my topic I already made a Chinese faction ![]()
cool post but u need a poll or this will be closed
I can’t add a poll to this post.
Ok
What’s the point of voting? It’s a proven fact that forum administrators simply don’t care about the results.

Hi, this a poll shortcode you can manually add on your main post. Please try and edit it, if it doesnt work then my guess is its due to the Original poster being a new forum member, at which point Original poster cant add a poll. The solution usually is to keep interacting in the forum and staying on until you can post polls.
But dont worry, this post may be closed but reposting the same topic is allowed under these circumstances, it wont count as spam or duplicate posts
If BR 1-5 – no.
