Hello Enlisted developers,
My in-game ID: T1891一

I believe we should add a complete Chinese faction to the game. The Chinese theater played a huge role in World War II, with extremely heavy casualties. It should be an independent faction, not merged into other factions.I also think we need more maps for the Chinese faction, and a must-have map is Shanghai, where the Battle of Shanghai took place.Thank you for your consideration.

China is great
The Chinese faction was not significant in the Pacific War; only the Chinese considered themselves “very important.” During World War II, China primarily acted as a defender of the Allied homeland. Furthermore, adding a Chinese faction would likely prompt Japan to request the inclusion of other Axis factions (such as Thailand or Manchuria). Moreover, the Chinese faction lacked a complete weapons technology tree in World War II, making it extremely difficult to acquire. Given that Enlisted has removed the historical campaign mode option, no one wants to see Chinese units appear in European theaters outside of Burma and Heilongjiang.
Plus isn’t most of their weapons from foreign countries too? I know their tanks are.
Your comment is full of historical ignorance and prejudice. China made an indelible and huge contribution to World War II,tie dowe 70% of the Japanese army, which is an undeniable historical fact. The so-called “Manchukuo” you mentioned is a puppet regime that does not represent China at all, and this is a serious violation of historical facts. The Chinese faction is completely worthy of being added to the game, and your biased view cannot represent all players.
I am Chinese. It is true that a large number of China’s weapons during that period were imported, but doesn’t this just save the development team a lot of trouble? After all, they already have many of these models ready in the game and can use them directly.
thank you
Yes, that’s right. China’s weapons originated from Germany, then the Soviet Union, and finally the United States. In short, its firearms and equipment are a mixed bag, lacking its own research and development system. Adding China to the fold would be extremely difficult.
Defeating the Japanese army? Did you know that during the Pacific War from 1937 to 1945, the Chinese army suffered repeated defeats in its homeland defense battles? If the Soviet Union hadn’t defeated Germany and the United States hadn’t defeated Japan, most of China would likely have already been occupied by Japan. A few victories during the War of Resistance against Japan don’t necessarily signify anything significant. You’d better not use Chinese political propaganda to intimidate anyone. Enlisted only discusses the most authentic history of World War II. Since the game includes a Chinese faction, it’s normal for Japan to propose adding other Axis powers in East Asia, as game balance needs to be considered. Finally, you are only speaking as a Chinese player. The Enlisted international server is a large community and doesn’t only represent Chinese players.
Your view contains many historical inaccuracies.During World War II, the Chinese theater tied down 70% of the Japanese ground forces, making an indelible and enormous contribution to the victory of the World Anti-Fascist War. This is an undeniable historical fact.It is true that the Chinese military was equipped with a large number of imported weapons at that time, but this is by no means a reason to exclude a Chinese faction. On the contrary, most of these weapon models already exist in the game and can be directly reused, which would greatly reduce development work. The Chinese military possessed a complete and independent research and production system during World War II. It had a large number of domestically designed, produced, and locally modified weapons, as well as imported equipment from various countries, forming a complete and unique arsenal — not a so-called “hodgepodge.”Domestically produced weapons include:Type 81 Cavalry Rifle, Type 30 Heavy Machine Gun, Gong-style Hand Grenade, Type 32 37mm Anti-Tank Gun, Type 81 Grenade Discharger, Type 51 Pistol, Shanghai-made 75mm Mountain Gun, Border-region Landmines, Chiang Kai-shek Rifle, Hanyang Rifle, First Year Type Rifle, Type 24 Heavy Machine Gun, Type 26 Light Machine Gun, Type 36 Heavy Machine Gun, Thompson Submachine Gun, MP18 Submachine Gun, Type 20 82mm Mortar, Type 31 60mm Mortar, Liaoning-made Type 17 Heavy Machine Gun, Shanxi-made Submachine Gun, Japanese Type 89 Grenade Discharger, 75mm Mountain Gun, 75mm Field Gun.Imported weapons include:
Mosin-Nagant Rifle, Kar98k Rifle, Lee-Enfield Rifle, M1903 Springfield Rifle, PPD Submachine Gun, PPSh-41 Submachine Gun, Vickers Heavy Machine Gun, Browning M1917 Heavy Machine Gun, Browning M1919 Heavy Machine Gun, Lewis Light Machine Gun, Bren Light Machine Gun, Hotchkiss Light Machine Gun, DShK Heavy Machine Gun, M1 Bazooka, Boys Anti-Tank Rifle, French 75mm Field Gun, Schneider 75mm Mountain Gun, Soviet 76mm Field Gun, M1 75mm Mountain Gun, U.S. 105mm Howitzer, Soviet 122mm Howitzer, Bofors 75mm Mountain Gun, Skoda 75mm Mountain Gun, M3 Anti-Tank Gun, M1938 120mm Mortar.Such a complete equipment system is fully sufficient to support a full tech tree and campaign for a Chinese faction in the game.Even the Soviet faction in the game uses many captured German weapons, yet this does not prevent it from being an independent faction. Adding a Chinese faction is a respect for history, a recognition of the huge contributions of the Chinese battlefield, and a common demand of a large number of players.

In total, Chinese forces inflicted approximately 1.85 million casualties (killed, wounded, and captured) on these divisions across the Chinese and China-Burma-India theaters.
This is what you call the insignificant contribution of the Chinese army.
The weapons and equipment you mentioned were merely given Chinese names; they were not replaced by domestically developed weapons. Given this, aside from small arms and ammunition that could be produced in small workshops, artillery and armored vehicles could not be manufactured domestically—after all, China during World War II was an agricultural country, not an industrial one—and initially cooperated with Germany to form an army equipped with German weaponry. However, due to a breakdown in diplomatic relations and shortages of supplies, this regular army eventually ceased to exist. Later, Soviet and American arms aid came from Allied Lend-Lease agreements, not from domestic production in China. Furthermore, some of the weapon names you mentioned originate from the Chinese Civil War following the end of World War II in 1947. Therefore, it is truly perplexing that you claim China possesses a complete, independently developed military-industrial complex while being completely ignorant of World War II history.
Are you referring to Japanese units eliminated by the combined forces of the Allied powers (British and American) or units eliminated by China alone? If eliminated by China alone, why did the United States ultimately defeat Japan, instead of China landing on the Japanese mainland and defeating Japan? Please answer this World War II historical question.

I have never said that the defensive operations on the Chinese mainland were insignificant in the Pacific War, but this is not enough to prove that China was the key to the entire East Asian continent in the history of World War II. Because in the history of World War II, the main belligerents were only the Allied Powers (Britain, the United States, and the Soviet Union) and the Axis Powers (Germany, Japan, and Italy). China was merely a supporting force for the Allies in World War II, not a protagonist in the historical battles.
All these Japanese divisions were eliminated by Chinese troops alone, and China paid enormous sacrifices for this, which you cannot deny. Defeating Japan was accomplished jointly by multiple Allied countries. China did not land on the Japanese mainland, but neither did the United States before Japan’s surrender. Japan still capitulated, a result brought about by the joint operations of multiple countries.
Your argument reminds me of those underage Chinese students who love playing War Thunder. They argue endlessly and make baseless accusations whenever their views contradict the facts. I suggest you check out Wikipedia; it has detailed information about the Pacific War and China’s history during World War II. No one will agree with you because the historical context is different. If China were an industrialized nation, it wouldn’t have needed to buy weapons from abroad and could have independently resisted the Axis powers’ aggression. The Allies (Britain, the US, and the Soviet Union) wouldn’t have needed to provide weapons and personnel assistance.
Finally, I would like to advise you students studying in Chinese schools not to come to Enlisted forums to discuss Chinese party politics or to incite historically controversial debates. This is not China, so please be polite and respectful to everyone.
I’m Chinese myself but I don’t think WW2 China has enough content to become their own faction ![]()
If anything Italy and Brits needed separate faction first, and I’d love to see that happen. China is probably only becoming a separate faction if we have cold war contents and beyond (Which isn’t coming unfortunately)
